Hey, everyone. This is Stefan, and this is a vlog video update on the creation of Affiliate Marketing Mastery. As many of you guys know, I've been in the process since early April in the creation of Affiliate Marketing Mastery, which is my brand new online video training on how to build an online business with affiliate marketing. I've created a little playlist here on YouTube. You guys can check it out, but I have some of the previous videos as part of this series where you guys can go back to the very first video, the second video, the process creation of the logo and whatnot.

In this video I'm going to update you guys on the latest happenings in the creation process. Right now we're here in May, almost, I think it's May 10th, May 11th today.

I'm not quite sure. I've lost track of time. That's how immersed that I've been, but right now I'm in Puerto Rico.

I'm in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and last month you guys know I was in Dominican Republic. When I was in Dominican I just rented a place on Airbnb. I was fully immersed in the process of just recording videos, creating the outline. I didn't really do a lot of fun stuff to be honest with you guys. I made some progress towards my other goals that I share with you guys in the monthly goals report, but my #1 objective day in and day out has been making progress towards Affiliate Marketing Mastery, and, man, it's a lot of work.

I'm not going to lie for you guys. It's a couple -month process creating a really high quality training program and product like this. I'm putting a lot of time ...

I'm so behind on so many other things in my business, in fact, like my team, like I'm not getting back to people. It's taking me a few days to get back to people and stuff. I've been turning away coaching clients just because I just don't have much time right now to focus on a lot of coaching. I'm really trying to immerse myself as much as possible and remind myself that what I'm doing right now is going to pay off. It's going to benefit you guys.

I'm focused on the outcome, the vision of what this is going to create and the value it's going to add. I'm really sharing everything that I've learned to build my business to where it is today because I'm diving into how to build a blog and how to build up your blog to attract hundreds of thousands of people, search engine optimization, YouTube marketing, how to build a channel, attract people on YouTube if you want to, social media such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, building an email list, building a lot of subscribers, and then how to monetize all of that with affiliate marketing, which is one of the best and easiest ways to make money online because you don't have to create a product.

You don't have to be the expert. You don't have to be the authority. You don't have to create the product, and come up with the idea, and create the sales page, and deliver the product, and deal with the customer support, and all the annoying things that you have to deal with.

When you have a big online business you're basically finding a product to promote, and your only goal and objective as an affiliate is to send traffic to that other person. Then you get paid a commission in doing so. Man, I'm loving it, loving the process of this though. The content that I'm creating is amazing, best content that I've ever created. I've learned a lot, so much throughout the years teaching so many people now that the content is just incredible.

It's really, really good stuff, and it's actually helped me a lot too going over everything as well.

Anyways, I'm here in Puerto Rico. I'm going to give you guys an update and show you some of the filming that I've been doing. I'm in a new place right now at Airbnb, only going to be here a few more days, but I'm immersed here. I'm going to do some fun stuff on Saturday, go around Old Town, old Puerto Rico, or Old San Juan here.

Got really a nice view. I'm going to give you guys a little tour of this place as well real quick, and then I'm going to show you guys my computer, some of the content, the video I've been creating. I'm going to show you guys a logo that's now been finalized. I've got my team now working on a lot of different things as well. I'm going to flip it around and show you guys a few things.

Here's the beautiful view here from our apartment at Airbnb, beautiful ocean view. That over there is the Old Town San Juan.

It's a big ferry over there. Looks like a big ship. So nice little view of the ocean...and it's been a pretty nice day getting into the evening time. Anyways, here is the apartment here on Airbnb. Here's my camera setup.

I've got a really good background right now too, so I've been filming right over there, but I've got my laptop over here. This is where I do my work here in the living room or dining room. This is the mic that I use, the Yeti Blue mic. They're great for screen capture videos. That's my Panasonic GH4 with my Sennheiser lavalier, really amazing high-quality camera.

This is the living room here of the place. Nice little place, nice kitchen. I like really modern places. The bedroom is pretty nice, but my girlfriend is in there right now, so don't want to disturb her, but the view is definitely the best part. It's got two bathrooms.

I just love Airbnb. It's awesome for renting out places and especially when you're living the laptop Internet lifestyle and you're traveling around a lot.

You just need your laptop wherever you go. Here's a video that I was recording. Right now we're putting a free three-part video series on affiliate marketing where I'm basically giving away a lot of free information, and this will be part of the launch series when Affiliate Marketing Mastery becomes available.

Basically what I'm doing is creating three videos. Each video is about 30 minutes long. I'm sharing a lot about affiliate marketing, how it works, sharing a lot of my success and my results, giving away a ton of free value, a lot of stuff that I'm teaching inside the course for three videos, and then on the last video, the fourth video is where I share how you can get started with Affiliate Marketing Mastery.

This is known as a product launch sequence, which is really effective because you're providing a lot of value first, which is really I think the most important thing anytime you create or launch a new product is always add value first.

When you add value first, people get a glimpse of you and what you're about, and they can decide if they like your style of teaching and training, and often times even if someone doesn't buy anything I still believe they should still learn a lot in the process and be able to benefit from it.

Here's part of the first video I'll show you. Hi, my name is Stefan, and welcome to Affiliate Marketing Mastery. For the last few years I've been teaching thousands of entrepreneurs how to start and build their own successful online business.

There's an online business model called "affiliate marketing," which I believe to be one of the best and easiest ways to make money online primarily because you don't have to create your own product.

 

What you're essentially doing is you're promoting someone else's product or service, and you're earning a commission in That's part of ... That's just a little preview of Video 1. As you can see, it's really high quality, really good background, HiDef, good sound quality and everything, so I'm really happy about that, and part of the training has a lot of screen capture videos as well.

Let me now show you some of the content that I've created for the actual product. I'm almost done, the content, all the videos. It took me about a month of filming every day almost to record all the content. It's still not done because I'm going to be serving people and asking for more things that people want. I recorded over 50 videos.

Let me show you some of those right now.

Here's all the Camtasia videos that I've recorded so far for each of the videos and each of the lessons. Everything is up on Dropbox, and I've got my video editor now just going through all the videos, editing them. I've got another person on my team that's transcribing all the videos, editing the transcriptions so that there's a downloadable PDF and also a slide that goes with each video as well. That's going to take a bit of time, a couple of weeks, just the editing process of everything and the transcript and everything, but, again, I want to make sure everything is as high quality as possible.

Then we go into promotion and marketing, blog promotion and marketing strategies, YouTube promotion, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram promotion, all about how to attract people and build a large following online.

Then we go into how to build a squeeze page and build an email list, how to create an email list and integrate with your squeeze page, Kindle promotion and marketing, so I actually share how you can publish Kindle books and basically use Kindle books to build your list, build your social media following and everything, and how Kindle can help you make money as an affiliate.

We go into monetization: the 10 laws of successful selling and marketing. This is all really a original stuff.

It took me a long time to come up with this. There's a lot of brainstorming and creativity, but I'm really proud of everything that I've shared because I've had to go over everything, all the strategies, everything I've learned over the years and put them together in this training. Everything here is original and unique. Cloaking affiliate links, some of it is common knowledge, like cloaking affiliate links, et cetera, but a lot of this stuff, I'm not copying anyone else. It's all original, unique material that I'm putting together based on what works.

How to monetize your blog with affiliate marketing; how to monetize YouTube, social media; how to monetize your email list. Why am I not making money?

I share different reasons or examples why you might not be making money and how to correct them. Setting up and analyzing Google Analytics; how to analyze YouTube analytics; how to analyze email analytics; surveying your subscribers; split testing and optimization; seven keys to long-term success, et cetera, so over 50 videos, guys.

There's a lot of work.

I'm still not done to be honest with you guys because I want to get your input and make sure that I cover everything you guys want. If there's nothing that's not covered I'm going to add it to the program. I've got everything covered here I believe so far, but I'm sure there's more. Especially once I release it there will be more, and I'm always big on updating my courses, adding more to it based on customer feedback. So nothing is ever finished.

It's always a work in progress. We're always trying to improve things and make them better. That's all the content. Let me show you guys the finished logo next. This is the logo for Affiliate Marketing Mastery.

I like the whole mastery brand is consistent with what I'm already doing with Project Life Mastery.

I like the dark background too because that's primarily what the slides of my content is, so I think it will look good on that as well as on the white background as well. That's what it looks like for now. Still might be a few tweaks to it, but for the most part that's the logo. Right now I've got my programmer that's working to get put together the website and with the logo and everything.

I've got my video editor that's working to edit the videos. I've got my person transcribing, putting together the PDFs. I'm still recording content, so I've got a whole team in place working on this, and everything is coming together. I'm still aiming to launch this sometime in June hopefully, but the deadline is July 9th, but I'm aiming for June. I'm going to be coming out to Vancouver in June as well, so I'm going to have a little bit of a crazy schedule coming up, especially at the end of the month.

I'm going to the Grand Canyon for a trip, and I've got a few more traveling plans coming up too, but I'm going to do the best I can. I left and I started my freelance career no matter what project I did whether it was brand web  design or product design actually brand design was at the core of every one of these projects  because at the end of the day no matter if you're designing an app or if you're designing a website.

These things are actually an application of the brand all the choices that you make on a website  or on an app basically are communicating who the brand is because the same website can be happy or  serious can be you know light or or dark and all of these decisions that you make there  from what images or visuals you're going to use what colors what typefaces they are all  coming back to the question of who this company actually is and how do they want to be perceived  by other people which is in essence brand identity so i think and from my experience  coupling this service of understanding.

How to answer these questions and solve these problems  for clients which is who you are and what visual tools you should use to present who you want to be  they're at the essence of every design project and every designer that has this in their you  know set of tools can do better work and obviously charge more money because this is another project  and this is at the base right if the company just started out they need these things and then they.

Will need a website or even if they need a website right now they probably need a facelift or answer  all of these questions like what imagery or look and feel we should use on the website which is in  essence a brand design project so this is why we think this is so important for our students and  if you're watching this channel then probably for you as well not to mention that this is one of the  most fun and challenging design projects that designers can do which is also super valuable.

And a profitable way of making a living as designers so all the best so in this course  um we are also doing something for the first time which is i'm not the only one teaching it we also  have two more instructors we have rachel hurry and we have matt bronten you're probably familiar.

With them if you're watching this channel for a while or if you're in the flux community they  are professionals and specifically with tons of experience in brand identity design they're doing  wonderful work and in this course you're going to benefit not just from my experience but from the  experience of them as well which will give you a much more rounded experience and different case  studies and different approaches which you are going to benefit from so what do we actually cover  in this course well we start off with teaching you how to close a branding project because.

I  believe that if you don't really know what kind of problems you solve for your clients right when.

You're talking to them you probably can't sell probably properly and you're not making the best  of explaining the value that you are providing so the first we're going to talk about these we're  going to teach you exactly what we're solving with the brand identity project so sales are going  to be much easier for you then on the next step after you have a project we're going to talk about  brand strategy now we've done our research and we know that there are a lot of courses specifically  focusing on brand strategy these days.

And i love brand strategy and i think this is a super super  important topic and there are people who are just doing brand strategy which i think is fantastic  but i think for most designers the role of brand strategy is in part of the brand identity design  right it's our clients at least from my experience most of my clients don't just need brand strategy.

They actually don't care about brand strategy they want the outcomes they want a new logo or they  want a new website and i am teaching them or i'm telling them just because i understand the process  the first part is to clarify your strategy which is going to be the compass so that we can measure  all other decisions based on that that's how you get the clients on board and that's how  you deliver better work so we're doing this not because necessarily they want this but because.

We  know this is important and so in this course we're not going to teach you the brand strategy but also  how to convert this strategy into the visuals and into all the design elements that are actually  required by your clients so once we teach you how to do this and i will go through teaching you how  to run the session and how to get all the delivers deliverables you need from the vision statement.

To  the persona and the positioning statement and the big idea everything that you need  we're going to move into the next module which is the creative direction in the next module  rachel is going to cover how to take all of these insights and translate them into a creative  direction.

How to find proper inspiration and how to present the clients mood boards to get them  align and understand the creative direction that you want to go for this is again going to save you  so much time because the clients are going to be on board and you both know what is the direction.

That you are going after in the next module matt is going to cover how we do logo design and logo  design is so important some people think this is the whole thing right just the logo but the  logo is just one part of the identity super super important part of the identity and matt is going  to deep dive into how to go from sketching how to work in illustrator and refine your  logos and composition and shapes and going to help you being able to take all the strategic  ideas and the big ideas that you uncovered in the strategy and turn them into a symbol  simple symbol that just conveys this big idea in the next module we're going to cover how to create  a whole visual identity because as i said a logo.

Is not just an identity is not just a logo right  a logo is just one tool and then we have all the other tools which are color typography imagery  illustration all the different elements that we're going to use in an identity we're going to cover  how to make the right choices to again convey the strategy that we agreed upon with our clients  and we're going to wrap everything up with how to deliver this brand how to present it first of all  so that your clients would be on-boarded and then how to deliver it from doing the brand guidelines  into delivering all the files and assets so you can take your clients from start to finish  confidentially.

Now at the end we're also going to cover advanced topics like brand architecture.

And  naming and rebranding those are things that as you start building your confidence you're  going to tackle bigger projects more interesting projects and we want to give you the tools to be  able to answer these questions as well as with all of flux courses we have projects that you can work  along to practice as you're doing this and in this project you'll be working in this course you'll be.

Working on two projects one is you'll be designing brand identity for yourself that's a fantastic  practice and then we have one of three briefs you can choose for for a fake client in work  and practice and we're going to give you feedback on your work and hopefully you're going to create  amazing work that you can later on use in your portfolio and that's we base our certification.

Everyone wants to manifest things fast. We are in a society where everything can happen instantly. Remember the old days where you had to go to a library to learn about something or research about something, anything you're curious about, you had to go to the library and actually look it up. And now we can literally have the answer to any question that pops into our mind within 30 seconds or less through a smartphone times have changed a lot. We expect things immediate and fast, and of course the same applies to manifesting.

We think of something we want, we ask for it.

We hold the space, we follow the steps and then we want it right now. And I totally get it. That's normal based on the way we're programmed in society. It's the instant gratification that we are programmed to expect.

But when it comes to manifesting, time really is an illusion because everything you desire is already here and it already exists. You just have to align with it and attract it. Typically what I see with a lot of clients and even personal friends is that they follow a few steps and they think they did everything correctly. But then when it doesn't show up right away, or by the deadline that they set, they panic or get frustrated or just give up. But the thing about manifesting is that the magic truly happens when it looks like that thing isn't happening and isn't going to show up.

And then the very last second it shows up anyway, there is this beauty and power in magic in creation.

So let's get into this powerful manifesting hack that I swear by, but also let me be clear. It's not up to you to control the timing or force anything to happen based on what you think is best. It's more about allowing, but this hack will make your manifestation shop much more quickly than if you hadn't used this. So here it goes.

I always say what you expect is what you attract, because expectations are a fundamental force in what you experience.

Think about all of the expectations you have on a daily basis. You expect to wake up maybe at a certain time, maybe not. You expect to have coffee or tea or eat breakfast or not. You expect you maybe go to work or you have a morning workout.

You expect, you eat at a certain time, be home at a certain time, go to bed at a certain time. You expect, you see certain people talk to certain people, experience certain things throughout your day. And in turn that creates your reality. These are all expectations that you've created based on your routine. But imagine if you expected the thing that you want as being real, what if you were able to shift into a certain energetic frequency to attract much quicker, this is what I want to show you how to do right now.

So here's how it all works. And what to do the way this hack works is by shifting energies and changing your expectations. Because what you expect is what you attract.

I'll be saying this a lot because I have to drive this one home. It's so important.

What you expect is what you attract. So in order to do this manifesting hack, you're going to have to grab a paper and pen and let's get started. The first thing you're going to do is write down the words. I am certain followed by whatever it is that you intend to manifest. And I mean, actually write it.

Don't just type this on your computer. Don't just say this in your mind, in order for this manifesting hack to truly work, you have to write it down on paper.

So you're going to write down the words I am certain, and then insert the thing that you intend to manifest, but do it in present tense. It is so important that you actually write this because there is power and scientific proof that writing things down helps solidify in your mind. So don't skip this step, get off your chair, go get that paper and pen and actually write the words.

 

I am certain followed by the intention of what you want and make sure you write this in present tense. That's extremely important to note. So for example, I am certain that I have blank. I am certain that blank is mine. I am certain that I have more money than I know what to do with.

I am certain that I have the most amazing supportive, loving partner.

I am certain that this is mine. So you write down the words. I am certain followed by a statement of the thing that you intend to manifest in present tense as if it's already here and that you're certain of it. And after you write it down, I want you to sit in the feeling and the energy of being certain, that it's yours for as long as you need.

And this feeling of certainty can feel different for each person. Maybe it just feels like there's a wave of comfort and relief that you are so certain of it that you don't have to worry about when and how just feel feelings of being a hundred percent, totally certain that it's going to happen. And it's so obvious that you can't imagine it not happening. Just like how you were totally certain of the things that you expect throughout your day, explore the feeling of certainty that this thing will for sure happen no matter what, what does that feel like to you? And I know that you probably want an exact amount of time to sit in this feeling, but the amount of time that you need is different for each and every person it's based on your thoughts and your beliefs and your resistance about this thing that you want, it'll determine how long you need to stay in this feeling.

So I can't give you an exact answer of like 10 minutes, 20 minutes an hour, do what feels best for you. You will know how long to do it based on how you feel. So trust that and trust yourself. When you use this manifesting hack, you are tapping into the same energetic frequency of the thing that you want. And therefore you're attracting it much more quickly.

The feeling of certainty has a really powerful, energetic force behind it because it shapes your physical reality. So if you are putting out the energy of certainty that, you know, and expect it fully, that it will show up, it sets forth and activation of your desire. Did you know that there are actually six principles that when used in a specific order, create an activation for your desire to show up in your reality? Yes, this is really how it works.

And it really is that simple.

Ask for what you want with women now at some point along the way you misinterpreted the message given to you by your parents or your teachers or other adults in your life that said always be polite to mean that you must never ask for what you want and if you do oh my god you're a jerk or just a downright awful person when.

The truth is the exact opposite if you're not clearly stating what you want but rather skirting around it you're actually being more impolite plus you're screwing yourself in the process and when screwing yourself it means that you're not screwing women in the good way obviously so that's not a win-win for you but we're about to change that because.

I'm going to show you how to rewire your current programming that says to be polite keep your mouth shut and don't ask a woman for anything by teaching you how to tell women what you want with an exercise called I want.

I tried to keep it simple so don't harp on me for my exercise names if you've been watching my videos for a while what is the number one key thing.

I stress you need to do in order to attract women you need to be able to lead leaders tell you what they want they don't hide it they don't cover it up and pretend they want something else so that you're gonna feel comfortable leaders and men that succeed with women Helen straight they ask for what they want and if that woman doesn't want it they move on and as.

I said in the last video I want you to wipe away what you learned as a child it is 100% okay to ask for what you want don't worry about people thinking you're rude or harsh or arrogant or big a-hole if you're watching this video thing you and I already know that you're not one of those things what you may be it's a passive nice guy who seems to always get passed over by others who you think are less deserving and.

I'm sorry for being so blunt but it's true women love decision makers they love leaders and they want to be it with a man who knows what he wants and goes after it a man that can challenge them and has his own opinion not a man that they can push over one little note this does not mean refusing to hear what women want and blowing past their wants the only way to get what you want from a woman is by being direct and asking for what you want for example.

I want your number simple.

I want to take you out next week really easy.

I do not want to be friends.

I want to be more and obviously you're gonna finesse these statements but at the base this should always be what you are expressing you were once if you've never been one to do this the.

I want exercising tool is going to be your new best friend this will help with women but will also help in all other areas of your life so here's how to do it here's the I want exercise so.

I want you to get comfortable with saying what do you want but first you have to get comfortable with using the words.

I want for many people this phrase can be tough at first.

I want you to use the words.

I want five times per day tell co-workers what you want people at stores your friends everyone and if you don't know what you want or don't even have a want take a breath and think about it and then say it out loud say something out loud.

I know that right now this doesn't seem like anything magical but it is in just a few short days of doing this you will notice something shift both in you and and how others view you especially women no longer will you tell a woman it's totally fine that you've canceled on me for the fourth time and asked to reschedule.

I know your dog hates to be alone instead you'll let her know that she's missing out on an amazing guy who has countless other options and there's an expiration date on how long his attention is directed at you you won't say this directly but the way you'll carry yourself will let her know that without it being said as soon as you can ask for what you want and not be afraid of it doors that seem closed before are slowly going to open your chest is gonna puff up women will take notice of you and you will be a man that can ask for what he wants without apologizing for it if you're interested in discovering.

So the first category that we are hopping into today is the arena of freelance writing, how to be a freelance blogger, how to write for magazines, how to write for brands, because no matter what language you speak, whether it's English or another language that is your native language wait, or really no matter what your native language is.

Freelance writing is amazing because it's a low barrier to entry to getting some jobs that pay anywhere from $50 per blog posts to 400 and $500 per blog post. So we're going to hop on my computer and take a look at different freelance blog websites. These have been verified by other YouTubers, other freelance bloggers that have had experience with these websites. So let's dive in and take a look.

Okay.

So. Let's talk about it. The first website we're talking about is problogger.com. I did mention it in the last video, but I didn't go into it at all.

If you're looking for to become a freelance writer and to get that career going, this is a great option for you. Here's the actual blog of pro blogger. And as you can see, there's a lot of different marketing topics. You know, five tips from full-time bloggers, the power of being vulnerable with your readers.

So a lot of articles with this type of flavor, how to hire writers for your blog.

And then if you were to go, just come up here to jobs, you can see all of the jobs that are listed. So if you wanted to put in your, like a keyword, maybe, I don't know, let's just say Instagram and see what comes up. Talents in freelance, social media management, help us with content creation for our clients. You can see what the criteria is it's anywhere. So it's a remote freelance job.

And so you really want to read through the entire post, because if you don't, it's very likely that your PR your pitch or proposal will go straight to the trash because people want to know that you are paying attention.

That's fair. Right? So that is pro blogger. And so the other thing I really like is that you can narrow down between freelance contract full-time part-time.

So maybe you do something, or do you want something a little bit more stable? You have the option here, so you can check out all of these different titles and types there's new jobs posted every day, which is also really cool. So definitely check out pro blogger for as a great option for freelancing. So this right here, Matador creators is a very interesting opportunity. Even if maybe you're looking to start your traveling career.

If you're looking to be location independent, or just Trevor traveled temporarily and work and get paid while you're doing it, because monitor creators, they have different paid gigs that are very interesting. You can get hired to go somewhere and write about your experience. You can get hired for things that aren't even writing. Maybe they want a, there's a job that want people to do photography to do filming and stuff like that.

So, you know, like this, this is an interesting job.

So mad at, or seeking a US-based adaptive mountain bike athlete for a film project in North Carolina. So there's all types of different flavors on this website that are really cool and sound kind of adventurous. And like this one, I know it's closed now, but they are looking for a writer for a story on the most scenic train journeys in the UK. So that sounds super interesting. So if traveling sounds like something you want to do, this could be a great barrier to entry to get a job, and to also have these cool opportunities to travel to different, you know, hotels or countries, or do different experiences to talk about them, document them and to get paid for doing it.

All right. So the next website is called, who pays writers. So this isn't necessarily a blog where you're going to come and apply to be a writer. This is actually a bunch of anonymous sources that come to this website and they report how much, like right here, like USA today, they pay 60 cents per word, and it was paid in 15 days, over 500 words, you get paid 60 cents per word. And you could just figure out how much these companies are paying, which is actually really cool, because then you can go to directly to the source and figure out what type of jobs they're hiring for and you know, what type of things that you want to write for.

So this is a great, great resource, so you can figure out, you know, who pays what it's not secure, keep that in mind. And so just know that it is anonymous. And so this is where you can come to find good resources on what type of jobs pay, what, okay. So many of you actually know about LinkedIn. Linkedin is a gold mine for if you're wanting to get into writing, because if, if you didn't know, I didn't know this until somebody told me that you can go and look up different freelance writing jobs in LinkedIn.

I highly recommend it. So if you're on LinkedIn, definitely check that part out. Okay. And so for the next four websites, we're talking about Fiverr Upwork, freelancer in guru. And, you know, you may be thinking I might support these websites, but I'm here to say that they may not be the greatest option.

Many people that I've talked to that have that have had writing gigs on these websites say that it is just a content mole, and there's just so much content and jobs out there.

And so it is a little bit more difficult to climb your way up and get those ratings. It's not impossible. There's still people that do it every day. But the problem is, is that the market on these websites is pretty saturated.

And what happens is you get paid, let's say a hundred dollars upwards takes a cut of that. Your bank is going to take a cut of that. Then if you get paid with PayPal, they're going to take a cut, then transaction fees. And it's just so many fees. You're just like drowning in all of these fees.

It's like, what do you get left? Or what's left after you get paid that a hundred dollars, maybe $50. I don't know. Cause I think Upwork and fiber take a 20% cut, which is crazy. That's so much money.

So I'm just saying, you know, if you've heard of these before, and if you're interested in them, just proceed with caution and know about all the fees that you're going to get hit with upfront. One girl, I do know does have a steady pain, just one, just one steady paying client on Upwork that pays like $900 a month for a reoccurring job.

And so again, just be aware of the fees and just be aware of the rules that you'll have to follow with joining one of these websites. They're extremely popular. There's a lot of opportunity for jobs, but you will get hit with those fees.

And just one more note, before we dive back into the rest of the freelance writing websites, just keep in mind that your pitch is extremely important.

So meaning you're going to have to probably pitch the editors or, you know, when you apply for a job it's important. So you just have to understand to get very personal too. If you really want this job, you're going to have to go onto these websites and do your own research. Subscribe to the newsletter, actually understand what their content is about.

Follow them on Instagram and social media to get a, you know, a taste of how their branding is their voice, who their audiences and stuff like that. So that when you go to pitch, it's like, okay, you're not just, you didn't just find the job online and, you know, submit a generic application like you do to everyone else. You know, it's really important that you make these pitches personal so that your application can stand out above the rest. So that's what I have to say about pitching. And then let me tell you, here's the emails that go into the trash right away.

Those companies that pitch me and they spell my name wrong. If I can tell if it's a generic email, like, Hey, we love your YouTube channel. Okay. You probably love a lot of YouTube channels. What specifically do you love about mine?

All right.

And so if they tell me something like, man, I remember in a video, you told your story about this X, Y, and Z. And I'm like, oh, so they actually, they actually give it to him. So just, you know, a little bit of 2 cents about your pitch to these websites and applying for a blog post. And by the way, if you are looking to build a portfolio website and to have all of your projects, all of your work and have a quick way to show your body of work as a freelance or whether you're a writer or another type of freelancer, go ahead and check out.

I'll leave a link in the description to a previous video I made about creating a portfolio website. I'll leave that. It's a really great resource because if you're looking to take this freelancing career or side hustle or whatever you want to call it an online business, seriously, you'll want a home for your body of work.

And that is a great thing to include in your pitch. If you are wanting to get into the freelance writing world, let's talk about a category now called online hosting slash experiences back in the day, we all remember where we were.

So clearly when the pandemic hit and the world health organization was like, oh yeah, by the way, it's a worldwide pandemic. Everyone in quarantine, everyone to their house. You're like, wait a minute, wait, do I have enough groceries? Do I have enough toilet paper to survive this quarantine? Anyway, the point is all experiences that were in person, all activities that, you know, you had to go to a place and you had to be around a crowd, just went down.

And that means that the online hosting industry skyrocketed. And so I wanted to talk about a website called Airbnb, but not just Airbnb, but Airbnb experiences where let's say you have a skill or a talent that you want to teach. Maybe you want to teach dancing.

Maybe you want to teach how to make cold brew coffee. Maybe you want to have a workshop on how to meditate.

All of these things are possible now. And Airbnb is really cool because that industry has also skyrocketed last year or, you know, over the past year and a half, as we've been through the ups and downs of COVID-19, we've seen a skyrocket and increase not only in Airbnb experiences, but now that experiences are coming back out to life and we're able to leave our houses and actually participate. A lot of these people who had experiences in person now have both the option to have it online and in person. So it was really the best of both worlds, but I would highly suggest Airbnb experiences.

If you want to teach something or host some type of workshop online and also a website called symposium and symposium is a very similar idea to Airbnb experiences.

You can teach and entertain people live from the comfort of your home or from the virtual comfortness. I don't even know what I'm saying. Is that even a word, but you get the idea. So those two websites, for sure, if you're interested in hosting something or generating an income by sharing a skill or a talent to several people virtually, all right. So for the next website, if you know me, hi, nice to meet you Mrs.

Romero, this or really, if you've been following this channel, you know, I talk about YouTube growth and monetization quite a bit. It's one of my specialties and it's, you know, the direct way to work with me is, you know, joining our Subscribers to Sales program, which is where we teach YouTube, starting a YouTube channel from scratch and leveraging that YouTube channel to build an online business and to scale that business. And the reason I bring it up is because if you combine YouTube with any one of these websites or applications that we're talking about today, it is game over.

I'm talking about a game changer. It is life changing.

Okay? And there's so many ways to monetize this one website, it's 100% free to get started. You don't need any money. It's a platform where you can create your YouTube channel today for free and start uploading content and really make a big impact while making money and increasing your income. And so essentially if you're interested in affiliate marketing, digital product creation, if you're interested in selling merch, if you're interested in doing live streaming, if you're interested in coaching consulting, the list goes on and on and on.

There's so many ways to monetize a channel that is perfect because YouTube alone is a website and social media platform that has changed the game and is not going to stop changing the game for future creators and for future business owners. I mean, there's a reason why the biggest celebrities are going on to you too, because they want to share value and really entertain and educate.

And that's the name of the game when you entertain, educate and give value, your income goes up. And just to give you an example of my particular channel, even when my channel was a baby, like when it was just at a thousand subs to 10,000 subscribers, and it's not the channel you see today, it was still making me a full time income. Can you believe that many people think that you can't make a full-time income?

If you are a small youtuber, that's absolutely wrong. And couldn't be further from the truth. There have been students in our program that just that around the 700, 800 subscriber mark, they were getting so much traffic to their products that they were able to be financially free. Essentially they were able to fill their calendars with clients, bring in way more income than they have ever generated from paid advertising or any other types of efforts online. And so this channel alone was able to drive so much traffic to our funnel and organically produce a quarter million dollars.

So that's, I mean, that's really cool. We've built up our company, you know, Team Mariss or Maryland to multiple six figures. It's really impressive. And just with the power of YouTube. And so the next way to really crush it on YouTube and make money is with a digital course, a digital membership, something where you're packaging your knowledge and selling it in the form of a course.

So maybe you're making different video modules to explain a process, to explain a repeatable process that you know, has gotten results for clients or customers that you've worked with, or maybe you've overcame a life situation. And you're able to package that knowledge and help people solve the problem that they're having right now, going through that same situation. So maybe for example, I think of a friend of mine who is a fertility coach, and she's helped several women in their struggle to get pregnant. You know, doing certain things, you know, obviously besides the thing, but doing certain things to help them like, you know, diet and nutrition and other things that she had to go through to get pregnant successfully.

And so the point is a digital course with the YouTube platform is in my opinion, one of the most profitable things you can do. And the great part about it is it's a low cost and it could be free to do so. It's virtually little, little to no upfront cost for you and you create it once and you can sell it infinitely. There's no cap and there's no cost of good to how much you can sell this course. And I like talking about this because with our digital course, for example, we were able to cross six figures in just the course revenue alone within nine months of launching it.

So that's how quickly your core sales can add up. And again, it's purely passive income. Once you create the course and create the module and launch it to your audience on YouTube. And I wouldn't get discouraged either if your YouTube channel is still small, because again, going back in time to when my YouTube channel was small and I launched my first mini course, it sold, it didn't sell as much as my course does now because I have more traffic, but it definitely sold.

And it was a great source of passive income to add to the Google ads and to add to the affiliate commissions and the other types of revenue that I was earning.

So don't be afraid if don't think that, oh, I need X amount of views and subscribers to launch a course. No there's people right now that would subscribe and pay for your course because they trust you and they want to learn from you and they trust in the process that you have, I have to. Offer. Okay. So this next category of websites and apps, it's kind of like low hanging fruit.

Okay. And that is earning money.

For taking pictures of receipts and also rewards points. So there's several applications where you could monetize from just doing the daily average things that you have to do day by day. So I used to live in America my whole life at the moment I live in south America.

And I'm assuming that most of you watching this video have to do this. And that is to fill up at the pump and get gas for your car. There are several applications where you can get rewarded for taking pictures of the gas prices of the gas station you're at, because the goal of these apps is to inform people where are the lowest prices of gas around the city. So they're buying gas or buying groceries interests you or not.

Basically I've been doing some additional research on how to increase the amount of traffic that I wanna send to my blog, an offer page or landing page or some type affiliate program.
