How To Create a Target Marketing Strategy with Examples (Attract your Target Audience)

How To Create a Target Marketing Strategy with Examples (Attract your Target Audience)

What's up, guys? Welcome to my channel. My name is Mallory Graham, and today I'm going to be talking about how to achieve a targeted marketing strategy, and I'll also go over some quick and actionable examples that can really help you achieve your results fast. If you're feeling like you're constantly going in circles, trying to figure out what you should be doing for your marketing, questioning your current tactics, and feeling overwhelmed because you can't possibly do everything that you're supposed to be doing for your marketing, if you want to know the three keys to a targeted marketing strategy, then keep on watching. Now, make sure you watch it to the end, as I'll reveal a special bonus key that can help you achieve your results, and I'm sure you'll find it extremely helpful.

Now, before we get into it, be sure to subscribe, and also hit the bell so that you can get notified of my next video. Okay, so the first key to creating a targeted marketing strategy is to first understand why you must start with a strategy.

It is very important to really understand what a strategy is, and how it's different from your marketing plan and your marketing tactics. Many business owners think that they have a strategy, but they really don't, because they don't understand what an actual strategy is. Your marketing strategy is why you do what you do, your marketing plan is what it is that you're going to do, and your marketing tactics or your campaigns are how it is that you're going to do that.

Like all things in business, your strategy plans and tactics or your campaigns will and should have lots of overlap amongst each other.

Now, let's illustrate this by looking at an example. Let's say that my business is a bakery that specializes in dairy-free and gluten-free baked goods. My marketing strategy should then be centered around why dairy-free, why gluten-free, and why baked goods? Why do I care?

Why are these important to me and to my customers? Answering these questions might seem stupid, but they're building a foundation around what your business and what your brand really represents. I say this because another dairy-free or gluten-free business might exist, but the answers to those questions will be very different than your answers to those questions, which is the main differentiator and what separates your branding and your marketing from theirs. The reasons that your buyers want to come to you could be very much different than the reasons that their customers come to them, which creates an authentic differentiation between you and them. We all know we hate doing strategy, because it's not as fun as working on tactics or campaigns that are front-stage activities and visual proofs of our marketing efforts that can be seen today.

However, the strategy is the foundation for everything that we're doing, and if we don't set that foundation and answer those crucial questions, then all of our tactics will just be guesses, kind of like throwing cooked spaghetti on the wall and seeing if it sticks. Key number two to creating a targeted marketing strategy is to think like your customers and create multiple personas. Now, before you exit this video, I know, I know, we all hate creating avatars and personas, but you know, the benefits of doing them will mean that you have a crystal-clear understanding of who you're communicating with and whether it makes the most sense in how you're doing it. For example, let's say my business offers physiotherapy services, and I don't know how to do my targeted marketing because it seems like everyone could be my customer, and because everyone is my customer and I know I simply cannot be everywhere and do everything, I then resort to doing nothing.

Getting started with your personas is often the hardest part, so if you're having a lot of trouble just getting started with who your personas could be, and if you're getting nowhere, try asking yourself who your top three customers are, or who are some people that you've really made a difference for, what were some of their pain points, and how did you help them?

write down everything that you know about these people and what about them made your solutions such a great fit for them.

How To Create a Target Marketing Strategy with Examples (Attract your Target Audience in 2019)

How many primary buyer personas do you think that you have for your business? Let me know in the comments below. The third key to creating a targeted marketing strategy is to continually ask yourself "Why?" Now, remember, your strategy is all about answering those tough "why" questions.

"Why are we doing this? Does this make sense? Why does it fit?" Now, before you get too excited about ordering a banner or signage, or creating a new account on Twitter or SnapChat for your business, make damn sure that you ask yourself why you're doing it, and who you're targeting, and who you are going to reach with those tactics and with those campaigns. Ask yourself if you should really be on those platforms.

As long as it makes sense with how your customers live their lives and how they make decisions, then it's great, but if it's not, then please don't waste your time on there.

And this comes down to why so many professionals or business owners avoid strategies, or they think they have a strategy, but really they don't. They have a set of tactics that they think they should be doing, and if and when they ever ask those tough questions, like "Does this really make sense? Who are we actually reaching? Who are we targeting with this campaign, and what specifically are we trying to get them to do?" If you shy away or get uncomfortable with those tough questions, then you are risking doing a lot of tactics and wasting a lot of money doing things that aren't actually going to work.

For example, let's say I have an Indian restaurant, and my best target customers are local foodies who've either experienced Indian cuisine before, or they're foodies who are really into trying new dishes and trying new things. If these people are savvy foodies who are really into researching where they're going to eat next, reading reviews and doing their homework, putting your budget towards Google Ads, no matter how much experience you have in running ads or how much you want to do Google Ads, would likely not be a good call because your target customers would not be influenced by an ad.

Let me know if you guys agree. I hope that makes sense.

Please let me know in the comments below. So now you know the three keys that will get you started on creating a targeted marketing strategy that will give you real results. Now, for that bonus, if you're looking for a step-by-step process for creating your own digital marketing strategy, be sure to download my digital marketing guide at the link in the description. PowerPoint on developing a thesis and structure for Ad Analysis essay

PowerPoint on developing a thesis and structure for Ad Analysis essay

Okay, as I suggested in the last lecture-- mini lecture-- I want to talk now about thesis statements and how to put together this essay. Hopefully, you've done a bit of brainstorming now about topics and have some ideas. But hopefully this presentation will help you figure out how to move forward and what to do next. I looked at this screen in the last presentation. Suggested some ways that this essay poses new challenges.

I wanna focus on these especially right now. How do you develop a good argument and a strong thesis statement? It might seem strange to talk about developing an argument about advertising or about analysis even. Here's, again, how the basic tasks are summarized and, again, I want to look at these two. How do you support and defend a thesis?

How do you develop a thesis about ads besides just saying, "Oh, here's some interesting things I see going on in the ads"? One way to think about it is these three-- these three elements of a good essay really belong together.

Obviously, you're trying to write a clear, compelling argument. To do that, you need to have a clear, coherent structure. And I want to think a little bit about that in this presentation.

And, really, to have either one-- both of those are guided by a clear thesis statement. Now, perhaps you've been taught about thesis statements before. I want to talk a little bit about what I mean by that and why I think it's so important. But the biggest reason is that it's difficult to write a compelling argument with a clear structure without a good, clear thesis statement. And it's much easier once you have one.

So, what is a thesis statement? And what's the strongest, most successful thesis statement? A few things-- first, it's a single sentence. I've had students say, "Well, my thesis "is sort of these three sentences kind of here." And I know what they're doing, but there's something important and worthwhile in summarizing your argument in a single sentence.

So, we'll talk about that. It sums up concisely what you want to argue in the essay. Two, it's clearly stated. It says "precisely," again, what you want to say in the essay. So, "concisely" means "short." "Precisely" means "exact"-- just what you want to argue. Not something like, "There are many pros and cons "to going to college." That's very vague and broad and general, even though it's concise. So, you need to be precise. It should appear somewhere near the start of the essay.

Very often, students will write their way to a thesis in the end of an essay. I want you, then, to sort of move that to the beginning and say, "Here is what this essay, in a sense, "will be about," without saying, "Here's what this essay will be about." So, very often, people put the thesis statement at the end of the first paragraph. You write an introduction and then come to your thesis statement. And then, it announces what you will argue in the rest of the essay.

And then, fourth and fifth, it's arguable. And it makes a point that someone might, at least in theory, challenge or question. And that's a tough one. Especially with analysis papers. You don't necessarily need to come up with a controversial argument.

That's not the point. The point is a fresh-- or, as this one says, a "thought-provoking"-- a kind of fresh idea about something. Your thesis should challenge readers to think. It shouldn't allow readers to predict everything you will say in the paper.

And, if not necessarily provocative, at least intrigues or invites the reader to read on.

You should not have a thesis that everyone will read and say, "Oh, okay, great! "I agree with that-- I don't need to read on." A good thesis about ads-- and now this is going to look familiar-- might do any number of these things. I brought this back in for an important reason.

If you notice what's in italics in each case-- that's what makes these thesis ideas provocative in some way or fresh in some way.

So, this does not simply say, "Compare how three ads work "on viewers or influence viewers." It says, "Compare how three ads work on us "beyond what's obvious at first glance." So, you're giving us something that the average viewer wouldn't catch right away. Or this approach-- three seemingly similar ads to show how they work in different ways.

So, your thesis will be, "These ads look the same "or sell the same product, but they aren't really."They sell the same product in very different ways"

Or, "These three ads look like they have nothing "to do with each other-- one's for an SUV, "one's for an energy company-- "but, in fact, they appeal to the same love of the outdoors "or individualism," or something like that.

So, in each case-- and you can look back at these or come back to this screen-- these suggestions say, "Look for a fresh angle." Not just a connection between two or three ads, but a sort of fresh angle you could argue. You might be wondering, "What should such a thesis statement "look like-- can you give me an example?"How do you write a whole paper about a few ads? "How do you move from a good thesis to a good essay?" So, I want to talk a little bit about some sample thesis statements and some sample structures for this paper, because I know this is a challenge in this kind of paper.

It's very different than telling a story. It's-- to build and develop an argument is what you really need to do.

Let me give you a few suggestions. Now, you may use something very similar to these or something very different, but it's okay if you want to sorta copy or mimic these a little bit. But this would be-- let's say a thesis and an essay comparing how two or three seemingly similar ads do something different. Here's my thesis-- "While luxury car ads "would seem to be all targeting the same buyers, "a closer look reveals a surprising variety "of product claims and emotional appeals in such ads." And so, what I set up is-- there is a similarity here, but I'm going to point out something that's surprising-- a surprising variety.

And then, I might structure it this way, right? I might have a paragraph on ad number one. I'll look at the product claims and the emotional appeals in ad number one, and then ad number two, and ad number three, and then a conclusion. Now, I might go about that in very different way. I might say, "While luxury car ads "use many different strategies to sell vehicles, "most rely on three key appeals "to the viewer's values and emotions."This, this, and, above all, this." Now, suddenly, I've set up the structure of my essay to be very different. I'm not going to look ad by ad. I'm going to look, maybe, appeal by appeal, or value, or emotion by emotion. So, at first, the ads all appeal to rugged individualism or all appeal to patriotism.

And then, I might look closely at one ad or look at two or three altogether.

And then, second, the ads use another similar emotional appeal-- such and such. So, that's a very different structure. A very similar essay with a very different structure. In all these examples, the paragraph and the structure depends on your particular topic and what you have to say.

But here's another example. You might, for example, write something more like this-- intro part A, intro part B, and thesis. You might have a two-paragraph intro. That's fine. You might have appeal number one-- referring to one ad-- appeal number one, continued.

PowerPoint on developing a thesis and structure for Ad Analysis essay

And then, two or three more appeals in another paragraph. You don't have to break it up in the same sort of simple or maybe simplistic structure I gave before. It can be more complicated. But-- but the point is a sort of structure that works with your thesis. Here's another one-- a thesis comparing how two or three seemingly similar ads do something different.

"While all SUV ads at first appear to use "identical advertising strategies, "a closer look reveals the subtle ways "that SUV makers try to target specific audiences "and distinguish their products from the competition." So, that's my whole argument in a nutshell.

That's my thesis statement. And then, I might have an intro-- typical SUV ad strategies, rugged terrain, mountains, off-road, etcetera, "but," and then, my thesis statement. But, then again, I might go ad by ad.

Ad number one, how it differs-- how it distinguishes the product, etcetera. And how it targets the specific audience. Ad number two. How that does those things. Ad number three.

Or perhaps drawing those two together. And then, finally-- very importantly in each of these cases-- pulling all these things together and drawing connections between them. Something I could do along the way, but also at the end. One more. I think-- about De Beers diamonds."A diamond is forever." "While appearing to be as simple in content as they are visually, "ads for De Beers diamonds in fact offer a sophisticated blend "of visual eye candy, emotional manipulation, "and cynical materialism "that only corrupts the notion of eternal love." Now this-- if we had time in class, I would talk to you about where this comes from. There's a whole set of ideas about these ads, which all of us know about.

But what I've done in the thesis, again, is, in a very clear way-- even though it seems complicated-- set out three points I want to make.

And then, those become my major paragraphs. I might have four points or two points or whatever, but, in this case, I could then, in each case, analyze, give evidence-- describe and analyze-- how the ads are, in fact, little more than visual eye-candy. How they are emotional manipulation. And how they represent cynical materialism. So, that sounds like it may be a complicated one, but the point is straightforward.

You need to figure out what it is you want to say-- your thesis-- and maybe how you can argue it. So, what steps are involved in developing your own thesis and your own essay? Let me give you a few ideas about this first. The last assignment I gave was-- okay, think about ads and brainstorm topics. This arrow means you kind of have to do that back and forth.

You might look at ads and say, "What can I say about them?" You might say, "I want to write about such-and-such. "Which ads can I choose?" But those will inform each other. Once you've done that, then you can-- sorry about that.

Then you can spend some time analyzing each ad. Spend some more time. Come back to those. Once you've done that, you can move on to things like developing points and particulars. You might add any specific points that you want to make, specific arguments, and particular evidence."How am I going to argue those ideas?" From that, you develop a working thesis statement. Or maybe lots of options. And then, what I want to suggest here is that these things are circular as well. Just like this is, you come up with a kind of rough thesis statement and then you come back and analyze each ad again.

You say, "Can I prove that thesis by analyzing these ads?" That brings you to further points and particulars that lets you refine your working thesis statement, etcetera. And then, finally, think about structure-- how you might organize an essay. "But I shouldn't say 'finally,' "because then that brings you back up here. "What do I-- what is it I really want to argue?"How can I put an essay together?" And this is the stuff, I think, that gets lost if you write your essays the night before they're due.

And all of us have done that. Maybe many times. But-- I certainly have.

But what gets lost is this notion of circular-- kind of circling back to your ideas. And that's one reason I wanted you to do the-- I want you to do the writing workshops. But also to set aside your own essay and come back to it and continually be thinking, "How can I make a strong, clear argument "using evidence, and description, and analysis?" And this is sort of a way of thinking about that process as kind of a circular, back-and-forth process. With that said, then-- now that we've talked about each of these things, I want you to basically start experimenting with possible thesis statements, and to do that, you need to sort of think about this process.

Spend some time-- this might take an hour or two or three to really brainstorm and develop topics and ideas. Don't try to rush this process and say, "Oh, yeah. "I know what I want to write about." But spend some time on it. Come up with many possibilities.

Choose the ones you think you can really do. And don't worry about getting a thesis statement. Just write. Often, I say, "Here, you can't really polish a thesis statement "or even really know what you want to argue "until you've tried to write a draft." That's sort of part of the circle here, too.

I should have written "attempt a draft." And then, that brings you back into this process. That said, though, it's pretty important and pretty helpful to have a tentative working thesis before you start writing as well.

So, I'm saying two opposite things here, in a sense, but I'm saying the drafting will help you figure out your point. But you need a point to start drafting.

You need a tentative working thesis. So, do some brainstorming toward that. Once you've developed a broad topic, chosen the ads you want to write about, and-- that's really the first presentation-- and then, experimented with some working thesis statements. What I want you to do is summarize or upload what you've done in a journal entry on Blackboard.

It doesn't have to be perfect.

It can be rough. But I do want to see the evidence of your thinking and brainstorming at work. That might be a whole bunch of work or just the summary of it, but that lets me see where you're at and maybe offer some help. Once you've done that, I think you're ready to try writing a first draft. If you're the type of person who can't do that stuff till you've just started writing, then go for it.

Start a draft and then come back and do these things, too. I think that's it. If you have questions, email me. I look forward to seeing a lot of interesting arguments about the ads I posted. Thanks.

What is Format of Google Ad & Anatomy of Text Ad For Beginners

What is Format of Google Ad & Anatomy of Text Ad For Beginners

Hey everyone and once again welcome to google apps course myself Umar Tazkeer  as in this particular video we are basically going to explore the different elements which are there  in our text copy which are there in our actual text copy right so whenever we are about to create.

An ad we have different options right so whenever you will be clicking on this small plus button as  you can see on my laptop screen you will get the options of text chat right so you can create the  text ad you can also create responsive search ad you can also create call add and you can also.

Create responsive display ad so you have these many options over here but right now we are  going to talk about only expanded text ad right so we'll be clicking on this expanded text ad  over here and then it will ask about the campaign and the ad group where we want to put our ad right  so I'll click on this ad and now let me first clean all these things which is there right  so it's already there so we we have to clean this thing first and then we will talk about all these.

Different elements which are present over here right so let's begin so you can see this ad will  be there in this specific art group right and this specific campaign so you have some basic  information over here and this particular text ad is in progress that you are about to create  and then there is another text ad which is there in this specific ad group right so this  is basically a very very basic kind of information about where our text ad is right then on the right  side we have this preview option where we can see the preview based on the different devices as we  can see over here we are seeing the preview on mobile device over here and then we are seeing.

How it is going to look on desktop and then we are seeing that how our text ad will look when.

It is shown on different websites like a like a display ad right so if you are opting if you are  opting that okay I'm creating a search ad but i wanted to show this ad on display network also  then this is how it is going to appear right so it will be more clear once we are done filling all  these information so once this information is all complete over here we'll be really able to figure  out that how it is actually going to uh look in this display banner right so let's start with.

This thing now this one is the final URL right so uh whatever our landing pages or wherever we want  the traffic to be diverted we are going to put that specific URL over here so for example if we  want our traffic to be landing on this specific landing page our website our official website we  can you can copy this thing simply right and then we can use this as our landing page URL or as our  final URL right so after clicking on this ad the users or the visitors will be redirected to this.

Specific page now this is called as final URL so we will write this final URL over here then  we have three headlines options over here but one thing we have to make sure that we have to  insert all the important elements in the first two headlines only so we have three.

Headlines over here we can write something like this number one digital marketing agency okay  so now you can see on the right side uh how it is going to look on different devices right so  this is really a good thing over here so we are writing a headline one over here which which  should be there within 30 characters number one digital marketing agency right digital marketing  services and let's see uh if we can enter this or it will be out of characters yes it will be out  of characters we have to make sure that whatever content we are writing over here it should fix.

The limitations which are basically defined by google right then we have another option over here  which says headline third so we can write Ws cube tech over here fine and then we have this display.

Path option so now whenever your ad will trigger and whenever it will appear in the search in the  result pages whatever final URL you have entered over here it is not going to show up over there  the URL that will be shown over there.

Is something like this display URL right so why it happens is  sometimes we have a very long final URL suppose we are like let's let's select one URL like I-phone  amazon and let's select any product okay here it is right so if you see this url it's too long  right it's too long this URL is too long and let's open the notepad so you can see this URL is very  long right it's too long so you can see this URL is very long so guys if you are putting this URL.

Over here as your final URL and it is the thing which is going to show up in the google search  engine result pages it is going to create a lot of problem like we can write I-phone or buy I-phones  buy I-phones and suppose if this one is your ad let's see if we can see any ideas here it is.

Right if these are your ad now you can see the URL over here so whenever we click on this URL right  it is something different like stop by I-phone I-phone 11 so the final URL is something different  on which we are actually redirected but what we see over here in the google search engine result  pages is totally different right the thing that we are seeing over here is basically  the display path right so you have to put something like this only so whatever your final  URL will be that will come automatically over here right your domain basically.

So whatever we  are putting over here like if we want to redirect traffic on this specific page of digital marketing  training let's say digital marketing training page okay so we wanted to drive traffic on this.

Specific page so we will put this specific page as final URL over here so this is not going to  appear over here so what will be visible over here is like WsCube Tech and whatever we are mentioning  over here like services and then digital marketing okay or google ads or whatever you want right PPC  services you can write this thing guys this one is a great thing that you have to consider right  so this is how your ad will appear on the search engine result pages with this display path your  option or display path content showing over here and and the reason is because sometimes your final  URLs are too lengthy which is actually not a good thing to show in the google search engine result.

Page right then we have description and these two descriptions are very important and we can put our  important keywords over here and we have to make sure that we do not exceed the limit so we have  to write maximum things maximum and maximum things within this uh 90 characters right  so once we start writing like okay looking for digital marketing services in India we provide India's one of the best PPC services or service right.

So it is exceeding and looking for digital marketing  services in India we will write one of the best services okay i am just writing very  random we have to make sure that our copy is good right so then we can write SEO services  SEO services.

And we can also write like PPC services we can write content  marketing services.

And then we can write video services so all these things we can write right  we we we are specialized in we are specialized now let's remove this video services from here right.

So let's correct it now this is how your ad will actually look right so you have to understand.

The  importance of each and every element each and every section which is present over here while  you are creating a new text ad and paralerly you have to see how it is going to appear on  the different devices like on desktop and then you have to make sure that how it is looking  then you have to make sure that how it is actually looking on the mobile because this.

Is something very important you have to you have to check your ad preview on mobile devices  first right because uh nowadays most of the searches are happening from mobile devices only so.

You have to make sure that everything is perfect on the mobile devices and then we have display one  right so whenever you whenever you select display network your search ad will appear on different  websites uh like this right so you have this open button over here and even clicking on this  open button they will be redirected to this final URL the landing page right and then here is the  h1 here is the h2 and then here comes the this description one right so this is basically the  anatomy of a text ad where we are having one final URL column section and three headlines.

Right and then we have a display path section then we have two descriptions of 90 characters  each and then we have add URL option also so we can use uh different tracking templates to  track things through the URL I'll be talking about this thing later in the upcoming videos.

So that's it for this specific video see you in the next video till then goodbye you.

How to Add Pop-Up Ads in WordPress: Clickable Popup Ads - CreativeMinds

How to Add Pop-Up Ads in WordPress: Clickable Popup Ads - CreativeMinds

Sam here from Creativeminds. If you're looking for a simple way to add image and HTML pop-up ads to different pages on your Wordpress site, the Creativeminds Pop-up Banner Plugin allows you to create an infinite number of beautiful ad campaigns with a whole range of display options. Including randomized or selected banners, advanced show effects and delay timings, as well as specific activity dates. The plugin also collects information about the impressions and clicks for your ad campaigns and generates statistical reports about how your campaigns are performing. So let's start with some examples.

This is an image pop-up banner that appears immediately when you open this particular content page and when you click on the banner it brings you directly to that particular web page. Now we're going to have an example of a fly in banner that appears after three seconds that someone has been on a page. Again it's an image campaign and when you click on that image it will bring you to the content page advertised in the image.

The third example is an HTML campaign. It's a simple color banner with text and the text is also a link so when you click on it it will bring you to the Creativeminds blog.

Creating a campaign is very simple. Give the campaign a name, then you add your advertisement items which are the actual banners. You can add an image or you can create an HTML campaign and use our ad designer, you can customize the font, create a description, and choose the font color, size and alignment and do the same for the title. Give it any border that you would like including different borders and styles. You can control text padding, so you can center or left align that text if you want and you can also control the banner size.

What this ad designer does is create a code based on all of these customization options and you can simply just copy that code and paste it into the advertisement time and it will automatically generate your customized ad campaign. Next we have some basic, visual customization options. The type of campaign can either be a pop-up or a fly in and you saw exampled of both.

The display method, so you can choose for this campaign to display a random banner or a selected banner if you've created multiple within one campaign. You can define the width and height of the banner, give it a specific background color and also decide if the banner has rounded or sharp edges.

Advanced visual options include a bunch of different show effects and you can really have fun with these different show effects. You can also use a delay time, so we saw an example of this. You could have the image appear after three seconds, ten seconds, whenever you choose.

How to Add Pop-Up Ads in WordPress: Clickable Popup Ads - CreativeMinds

The show interval so you can have this ad campaign show the first time that the page loads or every single time it loads. And you can also define how you want the statistics for clicks to be calculated.

Finally, under the activity settings, you chanteuse whether you want this pop-up banner to show on every page of your site, if you only want it to show on particular urls matching a specific pattern or you can actually choose specific pages or posts and add as many as you would like. Finally, you can choose activity dates for that pop-up banner to appear and you can define it down to the minute. This way you can create campaigns in advance that you only want to appear for specific time whether it's for a promotion or holiday sale.

Under the general option what's really cool is you can add in a geolocation API key and this way you can know where the people are coming from who see and click on your banners. Finally we have our statistics.

You can get a daily report of all of the impressions and clicks going on for all the different campaigns on your website. You can also get reports by period and this display shows all of you campaign names and how many impressions and clicks they got during a specific period of time.

How to Create Popup Ads with Picreel

How to Create Popup Ads with Picreel

- Did you know that the average website abandonment rate is over 70%? What this means is 7 out of 10 shoppers choose to leave the website without completing a purchase. That's a lot of lost revenue. All your marketing efforts to bring in huge traffic to the website can go waste if you are not converting visitors or gathering quality leads. Now, how do you exactly boost conversions and capture leads from your existing traffic?

The answer lies in guiding visitors and giving them reasons to make the purchase.

That's exactly what popup ads do. They can run on your own website and target only engaged or leaving customers, bringing in more sales without annoying them. A relevant popup on your website can be both educating and engaging. Let me show you how this works.

For example, you can increase sales by showing discounts or offer popups to your leaving visitors to reduce cart abandonment and turn them into customers. You can also use popup ads to upsell and cross sell to your engaged visitors. You can also highlight seasonal promotions and announcements using popup ads during festive days or special events. You can schedule a free demo or invite visitors to your webinars to increase your product's reach. You can grow leads and mailing lists using enriched exit popups with personalized messages and dynamic content.

Now let's quickly understand how you can create high converting and beautiful popup ads to grow sales and leads in no time.

Picreel offers a huge library of 100 plus beautiful, ready-to-use popup templates so you won't have to start from scratch. You will find different templates for different campaigns to collect email addresses and phone numbers, promote products, host surveys, and so on. For example, let's choose this engaging popup template for advertisement. You can click on Customize to customize the popup content and design easily.

Here you can change the look and feel of your popup ad by customizing it as you want. Pick from different customization options like design, fields, options, banner settings, custom fonts, and personalization settings. For example, you can change the background image easily. Click on Design and choose a suitable image for your campaign. Let's say that you are designing a lead capturing popup.

How to Create Popup Ads with Picreel

Click on Fields, and you can choose what you want to capture like name, email, phone, and other details.

Edit the overlay copy and the call to action as you like. Similarly, you can use the different customization options and personalization settings to make relevant popup ads. Once you have prepared your final design, you can adjust the campaign settings to target your audience. Let's say you want to apply the popup ads to your whole website.

Simply enter the URL under Basic Settings. Next, you can choose when you want to display the ads using trigger options. Under impression frequency, you can select how frequently you want to display the ad to visitors.

Picreel also offers advanced targeting options like retargeting, location-based targeting, traffic-based targeting, device based-targeting, cookie targeting, and so on. Configure these settings based on your preferences.

That's all you need to do. Click Save, and your ad campaign is live. The website visitors you are targeting will see the popup ad and based on the actions they take, you will see the results in real time. For example, if visitors enter their email addresses, you can find these in the Leads section. Analyze the visitors, impressions and conversions in the Statistics section.

Based on the results, make changes to the popup design and A/B test your popup ad to find the best converting popup. Picreel offers these and a lot more benefits and features. Social Pop Ups For Streamers and Content Creators

Social Pop Ups For Streamers and Content Creators

Hey! What's up Nerds, Keyon here with Nerd or Die, and today, I want to walk you through Nerd or Die’s most recent release, the Ultimate Social Pop Up Tags. Whether you’re creating content for YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter or anything else, so many of us content creators just want to connect our audiences across these different platforms, where possible, without it being a headache. Well I'd like to say "Worry No More" because the Ultimate Social PopUp Tag Pack has got you covered.

With premade and customisable designs, you can drag and drop this into your editor or your livestreams, and be able to use these pop ups in lots of different settings.

Before we get started, I'd like to remind you to hit that subscribe button and turn on notifications so you're always informed when we release a new overlay pack or drop some Streaming knowledge in your lap. Recently we released our newest product, Media Looper that works hand in hand with The Ultimate Social Pop Up Tags.

This tool lets your stream do all the heavy lifting for you and make it effortless to add social popups, lower thirds, and sponsor banners to your stream with delays in between. Now you can have a popup come in every 5 seconds, then switch to a new popup, or you can switch it to 15, 30, 60 seconds, all the way up to 30 minutes between playbacks. Check out our video on Media Looper here on our YouTube or head on over to Nerd or Die dot com for more information.

I can't begin to tell you how excited I am about this product.

So with that said, let’s jump in and see how you can get started using the Ultimate Social PopUp Tags. This pack comes with pre-rendered pop-ups that are in both mov format and webM format, so you can use these on your livestream with mov or webM files, or put them in your videos when editing using the mov files. To drop these into our video editor, open up the social pop up folder, and navigate to the defaults folder, select which tags you want to put in your project, then drag them and drop them in your project window here. I'd recommend making a folder and dropping them in there for sake of keeping things organized, just in case you want to drop them all in and make them part of your editing template.

After that, you can simply click and drag these into your timeline. These are useful for editors using Premiere, Davinci Resolve, Sony Vegas, HitFilm Express, FinalCut Pro.. the list goes on, because they are mov files, they're compatible with pretty much any popular video editor out there. They all look great on their own, as they were designed by Nerd or Die's very own Defrag.

Wave to the camera buddy. What a guy! Anyway, but what if we want to personalize them? Well, if you're using Premiere, or After Effects, I've got some good news. For Premiere, you can import a MOGRT file, which is essentially a Motion Graphic Template, or MO-GART for short.

To do this in Premiere, head up to Window, and make sure you have Essential Graphics selected, with this window open, we can see a little plus button with a window in the bottom right corner, this is how we're gonna install our motion graphics template. Click this and navigate to the Premiere Pro folder within our Ultimate Social Popup Directory. Inside you can see the Motion Graphics Template. Select the MOGRT and hit open, and it's installed. If you cannot see the MOGRT right away, search in the field here for "ultimate social popup" and it should bring it up.

Click and drag this into your timeline, scrubbing through the timeline, we can see it fully open, and on our canvas, it's big. Like if this is what you're going for, more power to you, but this is what I'm looking for, so we're going to head to Effects Controls and scale it down a bit, you can also reposition it as well.

A premiere pro tip, if you select Motion in the effect controls window, you can click and drag in the Canvas area instead of using the position coordinates. That's a bit more what we're going for. It's looking good, so let's customise it a bit more.

I want to set up a TikTok popup here, so I'm going to select our popup in the timeline, then head to Essential Graphics, and from the PLATFORM field, select TikTok.

You can see right away, it's changed both the colour of the popup and the logo to the TikTok logo. I want to put a TikTok name in the popup itself, so simply type in the Handle Text area to change that. Let's put Nerd or Die. Then I'm going to change the tagline from the default 'subscribe' to Don't Forget to Follow in the Tagline Text Box.

So if I'm talking about my TikTok channel in my YouTube video, people will pop over to see what I'm doing there as well. The default font for this popup is Industry, the only fonts that will work with the Motion Graphics Template are fonts from Adobe Fonts. Chances are, if you're using After Effects or Premiere you'll have access to this font. But if you don't, don't worry about it. The program will substitute it for a different font you do have.

I like this font, but I want to try something else, so I'm going to go with Roobert Bold. I'm going to make it bigger as well.

You can adjust different settings of any font, such as the font size, font weight, even the font thickness and italics, you can set it to type in all capital letters, or so that it will type lower case in small capitals and uppercase in larger capital letters. Feel free to toy around with any of these settings to find the look you're going for.

Everything is non-destructive and your best friend, Undo, will never let you down.

We can see 4 new options, Override Box Color, a Color Swatch for the Box Color, Box Roundness and Box Padding. Overriding the Box Color and the Swatch are linked, so that when you check this box, you'll notice the color changes to the Swatch here. You can use the Swatch to then pick any color you want, or simply input a hex code or settings of your choosing to get the color just right. Color looks good to me, so moving on.

Next, we can see the Box roundness setting, and it's at 0 currently.

If we pull this up slowly, and look at the corners of the box, we can see that the corners become...don't all put your hands up at once. Rounder!

Giving it a softer look, or an entirely different look from the original box, if you put the value at the maximum value, we take away the corners entirely giving us a nice round look. Personally, I think round corners add a lot of style these days, but I don't like to over do it, so we're only going to make the corners slightly round.

Box Padding determines how much extra space is being created around your main popup text and the logo, so if I begin to decrease this, you can see that the space around the popup text and logo lessens, and of course increasing, will give it more space within the popup body. Finally, we move into the CONTENTS section. Here, you can customise the colour of the Popup handle, the tagline, and even the icon of the tag itself.

Social Pop Ups For Streamers and Content Creators

In addition, you can scale the Icon up and down, and even adjust the shadow distance behind the handle and the logo. And if you don't want it on at all, you can just switch it off by setting it to 0. You can even adjust the opacity, allowing it to be more subtle or perhaps intensity the shadow even more. Last but not least - you can of course use these in a portrait template style, which is 9 by 16 aspect ratio. Typically that'd be 1080 x 1920 if you're setting up a project file.

And it works just the same way. You just drop it in from the Essential Graphics panel and you can resize them as we did before. If you want to export these pop ups to use them in your live stream with OBS or StreamLabs OBS, you can do that easily. Here I have an example of a sequence inside Adobe Premiere. If I just go up to the Sequence Settings here, you can see its your standard 1920 x 1080 canvas.

You can go smaller than this, if you need to, like 1280 x 720, the goal is to just make sure that the entire pop up animation is within the canvas size you've selected. Once you've customized your Social Pop up to your liking, you're going to want to export it. To do that, we go up to File, Export, and click Media, or just press Crtl + M on your Keyboard.

The two video formats we recommend you export as are Quicktime MOV and WebM. If you don't have WebM in your drop down menu selection, you can easily go to the WebM Coden website, download this file, and install the webm codec.

WebM videos tend to be a smaller size and they can include the Alpha channel in the export, allowing for transparency when you end up importing the file in your Streaming Software. If you were to export this as an Mp4 file for example, there's no alpha channel and you'll end up with a black background surrounding your animation which doesn't look the best. Assuming you have the WebM Codec installed, go to the Format menu and select WebM. Below this you have the options to export Video and Audio. We definitely want to keep Video selected, but you may not want to export audio.

You can drag in and add the audio from the default pop ups that we included with this pack, swap in audio of your own choice, or just toggle it off entirely.

Moving down even further I like to make sure that I'm matching the source of the sequence we have set up. I tend to use the VP8 Codec within WebM. You can tweak the settings to your own liking. You don't have to adjust the Method, but Constant quality tries to keep the bitrate of the export at a constant.

If for some reason you're going for an even smaller file size, change the drop down box from Constant Quality to Variable Bitrate. That way, when a lot of action isn't happening on screen, the bitrate will drop down a bit, but visually everything will still look crisp and clean. That's one of the really powerful options within the WebM Codec, but as we're keeping this file locally, we'll keep it at Constant Quality.

The most important setting you'll want to adjust next is Include Alpha Channel. Make sure this box is checked, and it will have the transparent background we talked about.

Once you're happy with your settings, Make sure you know where it's being exported to and click export. For .MOV files, we go back to the Format Dropdown and select QuickTime. In here we wanna select the video codec Animation. Much like in the WebM you can choose to Match the Source of the sequence or you can reduce the size of the sequence here as well.

So if you wanted to work in a higher resolution sequence, but then export something a little smaller, just adjust the width and height here. Like with WebM, the most important setting we want to adjust here is making sure the 8 bits per channel plus Alpha is selected. Don't forget to turn off audio if you aren't using any, make sure you know where the output destination is, and finally click export. Once you've got your file exported and ready to drop into your streaming software of choice, simply grab the file and drag it on your canvas. If this doesn't work, you just need to add it as a media source as you typically would, but Drag and Drop with OBS is an option a lot of people aren't aware of!

So the more you know. once imported, you'll see it immediately starts to play. Once the video is done playing, it vanishes. What is this magic? Well, it's not magic, it just finished playing.

If we want the video to loop, we can set it up that way by double clicking the media source, and checking the Loop box.

Now it will loop forever and ever if that's what you're going for. We're gonna keep that off for now though. You'll see now that everytime we toggle the source on and off, it appears right away and plays and then ends. If we don't want to keep this looping over and over again, we can setup a toggle for it with a hotkey.

Now if you don't have a stream deck, or something similar to a stream deck, don't worry. You can do this without any fancy software or equipment in the hot key section. Open up settings, down to hotkeys, and if you scroll down, eventually you'll find the Source we just added in. Tiktok PopUp.webM.

That's the name of the file we currently put in our scene. whatever you named the media source, is what will appear here. Click on the Restart box here, and I'm going to just set this to F8. You can make it more complex if you wanted to, but just keep it away from keys you'll find yourself pressing a bunch. If you are using a Streamdeck or Streamdeck alternative, you can setup those hotkeys to keys that aren't actually on your keyboard like F13, all the way up to F24 and a whole other keys that you wouldn't typically find which keeps these binds out of your way.

I'm gonna leave this as F8 and hit apply.

Now when I press F8, the pop up will pop up! If I want to restart it, press F8 again and it'll replay. Someone comes into chat and screams "HEy streamer! Whats your TikTok!

BOOM! Right on screen, and you can feel the follower count going up. Remember this face when you're TikTok famous. This man made this animation for you that aided in your success. For all you Streamlabs OBS users out there, you can see that the very same process will get you the same results.

Whether you want to loop it, or set it up with hotkeys for a toggled restart of the animation. And that's going to wrap it up for me! I hope you learned something today, got some ideas from this, and are looking forward to getting started with both our Ultimate Social Pop Up Tags and Media Looper, which work phenomenally together.
