What's up guys julian goldie and welcome to today's video today we're going to search  on everyone's favorite topic monetizing your blog now i know what you're thinking can blogs actually  make money with seo or is this just something people have made up to sell books and courses  online or maybe you're even thinking is this guy about to sell me a course at the end of this video.

Well no i don't have any courses like that to sell just yet but give me a few months and you  might see a video of me plugging the course while i'm in my garage talking about how i love books  what just kidding but anyway look these are all valid questions and to be honest i had all of  these questions too when i was first starting out with making money with a blog however now.

That i'm on the other side of things i'm happy to tell you that making an income from your blog is  possible provided you focus on a few key things and this video is going to cover exactly what  those things are in fact we'll actually cover some of the specific tactics that have allowed me to  earn money passively through my blogs what's more i'm actually going to cover tactics that  have helped me earn an active income as well as tactics that have helped me earn a passive income  for example if you check out section number two of this video you'll actually discover  one of the actual techniques that helps me earn passive income day in day out anyway whether you.

And then you've got other people saying you can't really make a good income from your blog  plus i don't really want to mislead people here and so i just want to point out a few things  okay so look here's the thing making money from your blog is definitely possible  but it takes a fair bit of upfront work for example throughout.

This video i'm going to cover  a few of the websites that generate income for me but these websites can only generate a decent  income because they're actively attracting a good chunk of visitors if these websites weren't doing  a good job in terms of attracting traffic they probably wouldn't make any money in fact they  definitely wouldn't make any money i mean for a website to make money someone usually has to visit  it and do something right so if nobody is visiting my websites then nobody is doing anything that  will actually lead to revenue being generated so with all that said if you want to generate  income from your blog it needs to be attracting a decent number of visitors.

Now it's hard to say how  many visitors you actually need as it all depends on your goals and perhaps even the niche you're  in it could also depend on the approach you're taking to monetization i mean as we're going to  mention later some approaches such as affiliate marketing might make more money than ads either  way i just want to make it clear that yes earning an income from your blog is 100 possible but first  you need to focus on building a solid website that attracts a good number of visitors from google.

That i want to focus on is advertising now i know that this  approach doesn't sound very exciting doesn't sound very glamorous but ads can actually be a very good  way to earn passive income from your site and one of the main reasons for this is that it's really.

Easy to make money with this method i mean you basically just need to choose an ad network set  up the ads on your site and then kind of just leave things like that it's completely passive  a percentage of your visitors will click on these ads and then usually at the end of the month your  chosen ad network will send you money based on how many people clicked on your ads pretty simple.

Right now i have two websites cheaperbirds.com and relaxolicaboss.com to earn decent income from this  method in fact if you check out this graphic you can actually see a summary of the ad revenue i've  achieved with these sites in a pretty short period of time by the way just in case you're wondering  this is with the ad network mediavine all right so let's just cover some of the things you need  to understand about this monetization method.

So firstly the amount of money you can make with this  method kind of depends on the niche you're in this is because clicks in some niches are generally  worth more than clicks in other niches for example the finance space is often way more lucrative than  something like the knitting market secondly the amount of money you earn with this approach.

Is  also really sensitive to the amount of traffic.

You can generate this is a key point because single  clicks generally don't produce a ton of money i mean most ad clicks generate money in the form  of cents and not dollars so if you want to earn a decent income from this approach you need to know.

So another way you can earn money with a blog is by focusing on affiliate income so how does  affiliate marketing work well with this approach you generally promote or even just mention a  product or service and link to it then if someone clicks on your link and spends money on the thing  you mentioned or promoted you earn a nice cheeky commission it's a pretty simple low effort method.

And it's one of the best approaches to focus on if you're interested in making 100 passive income  now something i just want to focus on here is that affiliate income is something most people prefer  over at income one of the main reasons for this is that affiliate revenue per click is often a  lot higher when compared to the per click revenue of ads so suppose you have two websites that are  in the same niche and attracting the same level of traffic one is monetizing with ads while the.

How much commission you will make if you manage to sell a certain product or service  so here's an example from one of the affiliate options on awen in this example the person.

Making an affiliate sale will earn six percent commission on top of that here's a fee structure  that amazon uses for their associates program now i just want to say that none  of this is set in stone these platforms can change the fee structure at any time.

So don't assume that these figures are guaranteed because of this you might always want to consider  looking at a backup affiliate program in case the one you choose suddenly lowers their commissions  anyway once you've picked an affiliate network you then need to figure out how you're actually going  to get people to click on your affiliate links if you're going to go with something like amazon  associates one of the ways you can get people to click on your links is by creating review blog  posts i'm sure you've seen these kind of posts they generally just posts that have best in the  title so if you have a fishing blog you might have a blog post titled best fishing gear for beginners  you might then list out the best items in this niche and you might include an affiliate link next.

On a certain approach option number three is redirecting traffic to a product or service  on a third party site now another way you can monetize your blog is by redirecting traffic  to a third-party website where you offer some kind of service for example if you're a graphic design  freelancer you might want to redirect people to a profile you have on a freelancing platform you can  then use this approach to build up your presence on this platform and then that can help you earn  more money in the future i actually do something like this and i do it by combining two websites  keempassive.com a website i own and five look up on king passive.

I have a lot of blog posts that  cover general business and marketing topics and on this site there are some super easy  to find buttons that people can click on these buttons generally include a cta such as discover  999 ways to make money or discover 50 ways to make money with cryptocurrency if someone clicks on  these buttons they will then be taken to my fiverr profile with hundreds of reviews and then that gig  can convert nicely and there they can invest in one of my services or products that promote.

On the platform and i really like this method because it helps me build up my profile on fiverr  this then improves my overall visibility on the platform and then i can make even more money  plus it's also kind of a good backup in case something ever happens to my website.

I mean if the worst should happen my website just gets wiped out due to an algorithm update  or something like that i'll still have my profile on fiverr and i can use that income from that to.

Potentially launch my next project if you've seen some other websites that do a good job of this  mention them in the comments section i'd love to check them out option number four is promoting.

Your own service or product so the final option i want to cover here is actually just promoting  your own product or service depending on how you do things this can be the most lucrative approach.

I mean if you're relying on adverts you're essentially just getting a small slice of the pie  of someone else's earnings if you're relying on affiliate income you might make a bit more  money but you're still getting a share of someone else's income and if you use third-party platforms.

 You're going to have to give up some of your earnings as those platforms take a commission  however if you promote your own product or service you can skip all that and you can basically keep  all of the money you earn minus the obvious transaction fees and stuff and you can then make.

com i've been able to close clients and provide me with five thousand dollars  per month of monthly recurring revenue this site generates a good amount of traffic but it's not  near the hundreds of thousands of visitors such a bird attracts however it's fair to say they'd be.

CJ affiliate marketing network, in today's video, I'm going to show you step by step how you can get started with CJ affiliate marketing platform as a complete beginner. So what I'm going to do is show you how this works, how you can sign up, and then I'm going to show you what it looks like inside of your account.

That is pretty much what affiliate marketing is about. Now, if I scroll down, you can get a lot of info about S.J affiliate, but what I recommend doing is simply clicking on sign up in the top right corner, which will then Suwaidi joined S.J affiliate today page. This is where you can sign up and get going with S.J affiliate. You don't want to go with this one because this one is if you're an advertiser, if you have a business yourself, you need to choose this, but you want to partner with them because you want to earn commissions.

So you want to click on this sign on button, not on the other one.

Let me get rid of this tab and then what you're going to have to do is simply sign up. Now, this is not going to be like a crazy sign up process. It's pretty normal. So call your language country email password. You confirm your password and then you can actually verify your email.

You can go into your account, fill in all of your details, and they are good to go. Now, I'm not going to do it because I already have an account like I showed you guys. So that's pretty much the sign up process. Just enter all of your details and that's pretty much it. Next up, after and verifying your email and creating your account, you can sign in.

And this is your dashboard. This is what that looks like. Now, on the right hand side, we can see aspergillus, we can see some pretty cool stuff here. So these are the affiliate offers that you can start promoting. Now, as of right now, I'm I filtered on all so I haven't filtered, but it's filtered and selected on all offers.

What you can do is specified is for specific advertisers or keywords. For example, you might want to do banking affiliate news. You type in banking and you'll see all of the offers to then show up.

You might want to do e-commerce, you then type in e-commerce and then all e-commerce deals will come up. You get the point, you simply type in what you're looking for if you want to.

And you'll then see all of this. I'm going to clear the filters to get the normal ones and go, but that is pretty much how the search function works. You type it in and it will show up. Now, let's see. It's not refreshing.

Needs to refresh, but that is pretty basic, right? You can go to advertisers and find the deals you're looking for, but that's not all because you want to know how can you find the best ones and what you need to do in order to promote them? Because for some of them, you need to get approved. You need to go into reveal. I'll explain what that means in a bit.

Now, if I scroll down a bit further, we'll come across a lot of different search functions so you can go of category the area, the language, the country source and currency. So let's say that you only want USD offers you select USD and you'll then get these offers. You get the point. I'm pretty sure that you guys will figure out how you can use these like filters.

So I'm going to go into that any longer.

Next up, we've got the offers itself. Now, this is, of course, very important. This is key. For example, I can find offers in here such as let me find a banking offer once again. You type it in and you'll see the offer.

For example, Ali, invest. If I click right here, I can see some more details about this specific offer. So to five countries based on conversion in the previous month, you can see almost 90 percent in the United States. So if you can get a lot of traffic from the U.S.

 

, this could be a good offer. Now, what you can do is analyze what these guys are offering you. And see, when they joined this network, 2007 as 14 years, so this is probably really reliable, which is great. So you can see some info about them. You can take a look at the program terms, the relationship history and the linked accounts if you want to.

So this is where you can get info about this specific affiliate offer. Now, apart from that, what you can also do is get your links and apply to the program.

Now, you also want to know, of course, how much money they'll pay you. So you can see right here in the lead, so parleyed, you're going to get between zero dollars and 25 USD 25 you need. That is a pretty good deal.

You'll then end up right here. And that's what happens when you click on any affiliate offer on this specific affiliate network and you'll then see different links and different pages that you can send traffic to. For example, if you only want to do mobile optimized, what you can do is simply enabled that specific box click search and you'll then see the specific pages that are optimized for that specific mobile traffic.

You can see for this specific affiliate program, it's actually none. So what you would have to do is then click search and then let me just refresh.

You would have to go based on what's available. Of course. Now, in that case, there's no mobile optimized. So I'm just going to go back to the offers. But that's where you can find all of these different promotional pages, media links, all of that.

Hey, this is Peng Joon here and today we are gonna go dive deep into a campaign to show you exactly how can you make a very, very, realistic $1,000 a month 'cause let's face it, $1,000 a month might not be a lot, but $1,000 in extra revenue can be the difference between having a comfortable life and a struggling life. And today I wanna be able to share with you how that's actually possible, because about two months ago, I actually released this video over here on the top 10 Best Affiliate Programs to Make Recurring Passive Income, and the comments that I got were a lot of people asking me, "So how would you do it for all these different programs now that we understand that there's a lot of affiliate programs out there that offer recurring passive income?" And in fact, two months ago when I released this video-- -Want to stand out online? - Here's an ad anyway.

So since that, when this was released two months ago, you'll see that two months ago, my MRR for this software that I promote, is at 56,000 a month. What is MRR? MRR is literally Monthly Recurring Revenue. So there's a lot of affiliate programs out there where they will pay you a commission, whenever you refer people who are subscribed to their product, their services or their software.

As long as they continue being a paid member, that is when that software or that subscription or that supplement company will continue paying you every single month, as long as this person continues being a member.

So let's begin with the very simple goal of $1,000. Now, some of you might think, why are you showing me this campaign of 50 plus thousand dollars a month? I'm not here to flex on you, but hopefully to show you that if these big numbers are possible, hopefully you can see that $1,000 a month from promoting other people's products is actually a very realistic goal. So in order to make this happen, we gotta understand that depending on what it is that we promote, we always wanna begin with the end in mind.

So there are a lot of softwares and products and offers that offer a recurring subscription, recurring affiliate fee.

And let's say this software or this subscription pays you $50 a month as long as this person continues being a member. We always wanna just begin with understanding the simple math. So in order to get $1,000, that would be either 20 members that's paying for the software, so think of it as like a gym membership, right? So the question is, how do we get this initial 20 people?

We gotta ask ourselves, do we want to utilize the paid route or do we want to utilize the free method? Now, every single time I say this people say, "Well, which is the best?" Or some people would say, "Well, I don't have the money for paid." Now here's the thing, we've got to understand that what makes an effective paid strategy is not about spending big money, right? I don't go into a brand new market and start spending $10 dollars a day on a product that never promoted before or a niche that I'm not involved in, what would I do?

I would spend $50 to see by spending $50 can I get back 100? And by spending 100, can I get back 200? If that happens, can I spend 500 to get back 1000? See, that's called scaling.

Understand that there's pros and cons do these two things, even though it's free, it takes time.

You don't get a million followers overnight. And if it's paid, it's short-term, we wanna be able to explore, how can we get this target for whatever it is that you want to promote by looking at actual campaigns. So let's take a look at an actual campaign. So this software that I'm promoting, chances are you've been following my channel, you'll know that this software I'm promoting is called ClickFunnels, it's a very popular software that online marketers used to publish their pages online. And I wanna be able to dive in into an actual campaign to show you exactly the mindset and the strategy that you need to have when it comes to promoting an affiliate offer that is recurring in nature.

Let's talk about the sales process. I built up a very simple funnel. Now this is both funnel is a training that I did with Russell Brunson a few months ago. And when we did this training, it was live. We said, you just got slapped, Google slapped, Facebook slapped, Corona slapped, you're about to lose everything.

One of the things you need to do right now in order to grow your business tomorrow. So it's a 48-hour pass where if somebody registers for it. So notice the flow, right? They register, they secure their spot and then after that, there's this video over here that they can play. Woo, what's up everybody, I see that-- So you might be thinking, how do I do this if I don't have direct access?

So it's not about having access to these companies, but understanding the process first. Notice what am I doing? I have a sales process, a funnel, where I send people to from paid traffic.

And at the end of this training, what will happen is I will send them to a link where if they wanted to get this software, notice that it says here at the end, so it's like one hour 45 minutes in, it says you can get started now, this thing's kinda blocking it, but it actually says trafficworkshop.com/special.

But notice what's happening right now.

So I understand my numbers, I understand I wanna promote this thing here that's got recurring. So what do I do? Right now I am fueling this here with ads. So this could be an image ad on Facebook, this could be a video ad, this could be a YouTube ad, this could be on Instagram. And I'd like you to notice, what are numbers that I'm tracking.

 

So let's go back over to the campaign.

So at the end of this, what do I do? I send people to this checkup page, they can buy this thing where it is recurring. They get six months of ClickFunnels, 997, and in terms of the numbers, let's take a look at this campaign that is still active. This is an actual campaign that's still live for me right now because it's still very profitable.

If you take a look at this over here, you can see that I wanna spend as much money as I can, I put here $200 a day, but Facebook is not spending them out, why? Because first of all, you can see that my amount spent here so far about $2,000 and I'm getting paid, or rather I'm paying $6.45 per registrants. I've got 307 people registered for this workshop and therefore that totals to about $2,000.

I have spent $2,000 on my ads spend, I am paying about $6 per webinar registrants and I've gotten about 300 leads that registers for my training.

Now, the next thing I need to know is how many people actually watch this training and how many people go through this sales process and what is the conversion of this offer. What is the conversion of your sales video, of your sales page, of your webinar, of your application funnel? And this way you do a forecast even beforehand, for $997 offer 10% is great, it's the benchmark.

And if it's 10%, that means it's 30 sales. If the conversion isn't that great, if it's 5%, that means it's 15 sales.

And you always wanna have like a worst case scenario. Like what if it's horrible, what if it's like 1% or half a percent? So it's going to be three sales. So what I wanna be able to know is what would happen if I were to scale this thing based on this initial ad spend. Now for you, it doesn't need to be $2,000, it will be $200, it'll be $50, but the whole purpose of spending that initial $100 is really to start getting data on your sales process to figure out where the weakest link is.

So now I can see that if it's a 1% conversion, I would get three sales and I get about 40%. So that would be about $400 per sales. So I would have gotten back $1200 by spending $2,000. So one percent, I would still be at a loss, two percent is when I would make a slight profit.

So my break even is about 1.

5% conversion, anything less than 1.5%, that's when I lose money, okay? Does that make sense? However, my break even point would be approximately 1.5% gain.

So let's say very roughly, so break even is 1.5%. And if I could break even at 1.5%, the question I would like to ask you is, would that be a good deal? I mean, think about it.

If you could spend $2,000 and get 300 leads, paying $600 a lead, and you broke even because the conversion rate was 1.5%, what would you do? Now most people, here's the mindset of most people, most people would say, "What's the big deal?" You spent $2,000 and you got $2,000 back. Well, let me share with you why it's a win.

Reason number one is because you just built a list for free. I just got 300 subscribers of which I can continue to nurture and add value and build a relationship with them where eventually they might buy my other products, that's number one.

So you got to take into account the lifetime value of a lead and the fact that most people might not buy the first time you contact them. And number two, you also got to take into account the potential of the recurring that's gonna take place when a person continues being a member. So for this deal over here, I know that if a person signs up for this software for six months, chances are they're gonna love it, they're gonna realize that it's going to make them money, save them time, remove all of the headaches associated to building a sales process online.

And because that, the odds of being a customer after that is going to be a whole lot longer. Even if I break even, it is a huge win because if they continue that subscription after that, on that $97 a month, guess what? That is how you start getting more people into this. So it's important to understand that to make $1000 a month, I'm not asking you to make 20 new sales a month. I'm talking about how can you get cumulatively 20 people that pays $50 a month, where your commission is $50 a month?

So this software is just for illustration, go do your due diligence. Understand that there's a recurring affiliate program for any different niche whether it's Forex, whether it's gardening, whether it's bodybuilding, whether it's marketing, whether it's email marketing, whether it's Facebook, social media, there's a lot of softwares out there as well as subscription services that has got recurring in nature. So in other words, what's the takeaway here? The takeaway here is this, in order to make $1000 a month, these are the action steps.

I don't believe in just teaching theory, I wanna give you something that's applicable so that you can take action right now.

And the thing that you wanna do, is you want to be able to start building up this page, something that there's not something for free in exchange for somebody's name and email address, by thinking about the product that you wanna promote.

So whether it is supplements, whether it is an Instagram done for you offer, whether it is an email marketing software, you gotta ask yourself, if you were to go back one step, before you even promote the product, how can you actually build a list? Because if you're not building a list, you're not building a business. Promoting other people's products is fine only if you're building your own business first, because building somebody else's business is not a business. You gotta start off with building your own thing so that the leads you get no matter what happens over here, this is when they will follow you for life.
