Email Marketing Automation Strategies: Double Your Sales and Engagement Using Autoresponders

Email Marketing Automation Strategies: Double Your Sales and Engagement Using Autoresponders
This video is really very important. If you want to increase your sales through email marketing, if you want to increase user engagement watch this video. What are Auto responders? How to use with some awesome email marketing strategies? Automate email marketing in this part.
Stay tuned and follow up with me! Ok friends, I'm Hasan from H-educate and you are following my email marketing mastery series. Before we start, please don't forget, subscribe to my channel now turn on notifications to get every new update almost every day.
So what are Auto responders and how to automate email marketing and how we can increase reach and engagement through email marketing automation. So what are autoresponders?
Simply is to automate and send an email upon an action automatically, simple example when someone subscribes to your list, automatically an email will send to welcome him in your newsletter, so this automated, so simple I think. I will split this video into two main parts I will talk about the concept of email automation and give some scenarios and strategies how to use this to increase sales and engagement, then in the second part I will go and apply this practically in MailWizz and show you how this works on MailChimp and so on.
But, please focus well in the first part it's very important, it's a lot more important than the practical part. When you understand the concepts, you can apply this in any platform. The idea is to understand how things work so you can apply in your own business and increase your sales conversions and engagement so let's stop wasting time and start directly in email automation and give you four example scenarios how this works so you understand the full idea.
The first example, the basic example I mentioned a little is the welcome email message. So in this example, in this scenario we have an opt-in box on your website and someone a visitor comes through a website subscribes to your newsletter, then you send him a welcome email message.
Of course you wanna automate this process, a welcome email will be sent automatically. Now this may happen directly when the visitor subscribes or you may send him like after one day, after two days automatically so he can configure your autoresponder to send a welcome email message after the user subscribes to your newsletter in a period of time. So this is the first basic example and the welcome email messages are really so important and it has some strategies to use to increase engagements and conversions in your business I will talk about this later in another video.
Anyway now this is the first basic example. The second scenario which really increase engagements and allows you to split your email list into highly active users and low active users, is to create an autoresponder in this way you send a regular email campaign and you say whenever someone's open an email he will be moved automatically to an email list and when he is moved to this email list, you will send him other message automatically. So everything will be automated so if someone opens the email, so this is an active user you will move him automatically to an email list, another one and this email list will have the highly active users and automatically they will receive a new message from you using another responder then maybe promote something, maybe let it happen through a sales funnel and so on. So this is the second example which is sending an email to the active users who opens a regular email campaign.
The third scenario is what we call a drip campaign or a sequence email campaign and this is also very important in cold email marketing.
When you send an outreach campaign and send cold emails for maybe like 100 person and you want to turn them into your business, you need to send follow-up emails, like the first day you send an email and then you follow up with him the second day, the third day and so on. You need to create this sequence automatically and the autoresponder will automatically manage this sequence and send these emails. So in this way, you can also configure your system to send a sequence of emails upon actions like those who open the message, like those who didn't open the message sent another email, maybe a reminder, maybe another notification, maybe you can do an a/b split test.
So you set a campaign and if someone opens the email like maybe 20% open the email, send them a message on their message and the 80 percent who didn't open the email, send them other template with another subject and body and see how things work. Maybe it will work better with another template and so on.
Everything will be automated, I hope you are getting the point these are really very important in email marketing to increase your sales and engagements. The last scenario I wanna talk in this video is about creating a sales funnel using sequence of emails.
Like you have a website, you are selling products or you are selling online services. So when someone subscribes and buys your service, you wanna send him after buying so you know when someone buys a service, he can afford money online, he have a credit card he's a person who buys online, so you can make this person enter a new sales funnel by promoting another service, another deal directly after he buys something and this is really very important and increases and doubles the sales maybe two x three x and so on. So these are the four scenarios that I want to talk about in this video and all are based on the same idea, email automation.

Now let's go and show you somehow how we can apply these scenarios or some of them inside our email marketing system on MailChimp and on MailWizz.
Of course if you are using other systems, we can check out the commutation, the practical side is somehow not that important, you can apply anything, any idea the main key is to plan well and think about the funnel, about the automation plan and then you can apply with any system. I just want to show you now how we apply this to take an idea. So here in MailWizz, let's start with MailWizz, you can see in the campaign we have something called autoresponders. Let's create a new autoresponder to see how things work let's name this anything "test 1" and now let's choose a list let's say this one "H-educate newsletter" and click on save and next.
Now enter any subject line you want and then let's go and click on show more options here. You can see here, actions against subscribers upon campaign open this is really very important I talk about the second scenario where you can send an email or you can move a subscriber to a new list and send him an email.
So here you can add that if someone opens the campaign, opens the email to move or copy to another list and whenever someone moves to that list, you will configure an autoresponder to send him automatically an email so this really very important you move you move him, this active user to other list so this list is an active user's list where you can send them another type of emails and so on. Anyway now let's skip this now and click on save and continue. Let's choose any template now choose, select template anything, choose this save and next.
Please if you haven't watched my first parts, please go with this series one by one I explained everything in a step-by-step manner so to follow up and understand everything. So here you can see the autoresponder configuration, you can see after subscribe, after campaign open and after campaign send.
So if you want to create a sequence of emails like we send the first one and the second one and the third one and so on you say only "after campaign send and you select the campaign here and set the autoresponder time, like the second day you say days here one day. In this way after one day after the first campaign, the second email will be sent automatically and so on. So you can configure a sequence of emails, you can say like after after subscribe so in this way it's like a welcome message when someone subscribes to the email list, you can send an autoresponder time like directly to zero or like one, two days like minute, hour whatever you want and then send him a welcome email or the first email after he subscribes automatically.
You can also after campaign open and choose the campaign you want in this way you can send to all who open the campaigns, like a reminder maybe a sales funnel email, maybe a new deal whatever you want. Think about the idea that corresponds to your online business or to your business. So this is how you can configure an autoresponder in MailWizz, create a sequence of emails, create a campaign that dissects your email lists or segments them into highly active users and so on. I hope the idea is somehow clear. Please don't forget to ask anything, anytime you want here in the comments or on my website H-answers.com So this about MailWizz. Let's go to MailChimp here and go to automate and click on email to see there some examples. You can see here the welcome new subscribers so it's automatically done by MailChimp here it's somehow easier, you click on welcome new subscribers and select this campaign name and select the list and click on begin you select the template let's click on begin to see how things work and in this way you can set the subject like thanks for joining us and so on.
So this email will be sent automatically when someone subscribes to your newsletter. Let's go back to automate email.
I want to talk about the API section here. Here you can integrate some API's like maybe Facebook API so the event, the events in Facebook if you're familiar with Facebook Ads there's something called Facebook pixels and events so when someone like opens your website, when someone purchases a product on your website and so on, you can send him an email. So also you can send an email upon an action in a third-party service on your website. You can here set a subscriber activity like when someone responds, then you can send a thank pop-up there's a lot of things like you can send an email to people who you tagged in the email list I talked about this in the MailChimp crash course please review if you want and so on. So this is how you can configure automation in MailChimp, in MailWizz or whatever email marketing system you are using.
Just understand the concepts and apply these scenarios, these strategies in your business and believe me you will multiply conversion rates, you'll multiplied your visitors, your engagements by at least two or three times. I promised you not to make these videos somehow long, I want to keep them like 10-15 minutes. I will talk about everything in detail in another video so don't worry about anything but please try your best to understand each concept explained in each video. Later on we'll have lectures about cold email marketing tips to increase conversions, more practical tips, in deep tips and so on. So don't be in a rush, I'll explain everything in detail.

3 Ultimate Secrets To Success In Life

3 Ultimate Secrets To Success In Life | Jim Rohn Motivational Speech | Jim Rohn | 365 Motivation
So the man who shared with me ideas that changed my life i want to share with you three of those basic subjects he said mr rohn if you want the future to change for you you've got to change if you don't change the next six years of your life is going to be just like the last six if you will change everything will change for you if you will get better everything will get better for you three subjects that really made an impact on my life the first subject he called personal development and the second subject he called setting goals and the third was how to become financially independent.
And i'd like to give you those three major subjects that's so dramatically affected my life and uh let's get started the first one is personal development it's very simple we get paid for bringing value to the marketplace that's about as simple as i can put economics we get paid for bringing value to the marketplace now it takes time to bring value to the marketplace however we do not get paid for time so we cross that out mistakenly the man says i'm making about 20 for an hour not true if that was true you could just stay home right and have them send your money.
So that's not true we don't get paid for time we get paid for value brought to the marketplace now since that's true here's one of the key questions of my talk to you today is it possible to become twice as valuable to the marketplace and make twice as much money.
In the same time is that possible the answer is yes could you become three times as valuable in the same time and the answer is yes five times ten times of course let's say at five dollars an hour and it keeps going up top income last year 80 million dollars the guy who runs coca-cola why would the marketplace pay someone only five dollars an hour very simple answer they're not very valuable to the marketplace.
Now we must underline to the marketplace this person might be a very valuable brother yes member the family valuable yes valuable member of the church of course valuable citizen of the country yes valuable in the sight of god no doubt we're all of equal value in the sight of god but if you're not very valuable to the marketplace you don't get much money why would the marketplace pay some people fifty dollars.
An hour answer evidently they must be more valuable to the marketplace ten times more valuable and is that possible for someone to be ten times more valuable and earn fifty dollars an hour instead of five the answer is yes and would the marketplace pay one person eighty million dollars for one year's work and the answer is of course if you help the company make a billion dollars would they pay you 80 million.
I'm telling you it is possible that's why this financial ladder is so exciting it's possible for all of this to come true for all of you no matter where you start as a student in school just getting started out there in the workplace this is all possible for you now mr shelf gave me the clue on how to climb this ladder as high as i wanted to climb here's what he said to me in climbing this ladder economically all you have to do is work harder on yourself than you do on your job once i heard that it made sense to me i kept hoping that everything else would change around me found out that if i went to work on myself worked on my skills worked on my language if i became better than i was each year.
If i grew in skills and language and vocabulary and competence then i would become attractive to the marketplace all we have to do is change what's going on in here and now there are several ways to do that on personal development here's the first one we must learn from personal experience pretty simple learn from what happens to you take a look back over the last few months did you make some mistakes how could you correct those for the future take a look back over the last year have you done it right or done it wrong let's correct it for the next year so learn from your personal experience.
Now here's number two and that i call it ope other people's experiences that's me other people that's your teacher other people that's your friends and colleagues other people the people you meet that can pass along to you their experiences what's happened to them the mistakes they made how they corrected them how they changed their health and changed their bank account and changed their income and changed their future that's it other people now there's two kinds of people to learn from one.
Is failures but now then we must also learn from positive people that have done well they've got the health and so we asked them how did you become so healthy they've got the skills so we asked them how did you become this skillful they've got the income so we ask them how did you get here in such a short period of time so now here's what's important in personal development in learning from other people we learn number one by observation we learn what we see we watch people that are successful.
In what they do in sports we watch their disciplines in business we watch their disciplines by observation what we can see second we learn by what we hear listen to the lectures listen to the teacher listen to someone who's got something good to say and then number three is vitally important on personal development and that is read all the books.
All the books you can possibly read in your lifetime is very important become a good reader some books that helped change my life recommended of course the bible and then other books that helped to really change my life one called think and grow rich by napoleon hill and then a book that helped me become financially independent by the time i was 31 and that book is called the richest man in babylon by george claisen i started reading the books attending the classes making sure that i got in front of people that had something good to say and then i started keeping a journal one of the major things my teacher taught me was to keep a journal he said don't trust your memory.
If you hear something good just make a little note and write it down value captured that you can resort to later go back over it and review it and let it become valuable to you now let's cover the second subject on setting goals mr shelf gave me some tips on setting goals that changed my life forever and i want to share those with you so let's talk about setting goals and i also want to tie it to personal development.
And you'll see how i'm going to do it as i progress here setting goals there are four things to consider in terms of attitude one is how you feel about the past we've got to have the future well designed the future is called the promise the promise of the future can be an awesome force for your own future the promise of the future designing the future there's two ways to face the future one is with apprehension.
And the other is with anticipation i promise you in my travels around the world most people face the future with apprehension and here's why they don't have it well designed they've sort of left that up to someone else to fix but here's the best way to face the future with anticipation and you can face the future with anticipation.
If i would like to have you consider some thoughts with me that help me to really change my future setting goals is very simple number one decide what you want you just take a little time you sit down and say what do i want what kind of skills do i want what kind of income.
Do i want for the future uh what would i like where would i like to go places i'd like to visit uh habits i'd like to acquire skills i'd like to have you just take a little time to think about what you want economics friendships people you'd like to meet places you'd like to go make a list just jot it all down it's a really a very simple process and then here's number three keep all the old lists i'm telling you this served me so well keeping my old list of goals i look back now 10 20 years ago at goals i set lists i made and i smile now because here's what i thought was so important you know 20 years ago now some of those things aren't even on my list i've got a new list.
I've grown i've changed i've matured but i give you that advice decide what you want number two write it down number three keep the old lists and then here's number four when you get something that's on one of these lists check it off part of the fun of having a list is checking it off if the future gets clear the price gets easier because you got to remember for every promise there's a price to pay everybody's got to pay the price everybody's.
Got to do the deal everybody's got to do the disciplines everybody has to pay but here's what i've discovered if the promise is clear and powerful the price is easy to pay the prices some classes the price is a few books the price is a few disciplines the price is finding something that'll make your life better make you grow make you change make you develop so the first part of the key is to design the promise then what is the price to pay i'm telling you the price will be easy if you'll make that clear make those lists.
And be serious about it i promise you it's an easy price to pay anybody can pay it and the best advice i can give you is if i can do it you can do it farm boy from idaho raised in obscurity i changed my life turned it upside down turned it all around found economics found future found promise and if i can do it you can do it so start setting your goals and see if you can't get a better excitement going for the things you want to accomplish for the future.
Now here's my third subject and that's called financial independence oh by the way before i get to financial independence let me cover one more point one of the major reasons for setting goals is for what they make of and here's an important statement to remember it's not what you get that makes you valuable.
It's what you become okay now let's talk about financial independence.
How to become rich if you're extra bright much sooner if you find an opportunity like i did let me show you how i did it financial independence first of all i like the phrase financial independence i think it's every person's heritage here to become financially independent now let me give you my definition of financial independence financial independence.
Is the ability to live from the income of your own personal resources now it depends on how you want to live if you need two three thousand dollars a month if you need four or five thousand a month if you need ten thousand a month some people may need you know 100 000 a month but whatever you would need to live and you could earn that living from the income.
Of your own personal resources that's what i call financial freedom financial independence and let me show you how to acquire it if you start at age 15 between ages 15 and 35 is 20 years and in my personal opinion based on my own studies and my own experience 20 years in my opinion is enough time to become financially independent.
If you're not you don't live in the wrong country probably what's happened is you have the wrong plan and it's easy to be a nice person with the wrong plan i found that when i was 25 years old i was broke at age 25 and i was a nice guy you would have liked me but i'm telling you my plans up until then especially my financial plan left me broke i totally changed it the next six years and i became financially independent so i know what i'm talking about it is possible in a reasonable amount of time 15 to 35 whatever 20 years time enough time.
You can do it in much shorter period of time here's number one first of all you got to have the right philosophy philosophy is our ability to gather knowledge and sort through it and decide what's valuable to develop a philosophy about life a philosophy about our health a philosophy about our family relationships a philosophy about economics and if you develop the right philosophy that's what helps to set this sale so that in six years.
It takes you where you want to go instead of winding up like i did that first six years of my economics broke no money empty bank account let me give you a couple of philosophies to consider here's the first one it's called the philosophy of the poor and here it is poor people usually spend their money and invest what's left that's the philosophy of the poor now here's the philosophy of the rich rich people invest their money and spend what's left and here's the startling answer it really doesn't matter what the amount is what's most important is not the amount what's really important is the philosophy.
Now let me give you my best view of what to do with the dollar and i promise you if you started at age 15 now if you're over 15 right you've still got plenty of time you still got 20 years you know if you're 30 you're still got 20 years i mean you know you've still got plenty of time to start what i'm about to share with you what to do with the dollar here's my first bit of advice never spend more than 70 cents never spend more than 70 cents now you got to pick some number and the number you pick is going to be determined by your philosophy.
It's going to be determined by what you've been taught or your experience teaching yourself when i first met my teacher mr show i was at about 110 of each dollar you know i'm down at budget finance hawking my furniture in my car one more time and then i learned a whole better formula for financial independence number one don't spend more than 70 cents now kids say to me well okay what do i do with the other 30 cents and here's what i teach them 10 cents for charity charity or church or helping people that can't help themselves 10 cents to support worthy projects projects.
That you feel good about 10 cents out of every dollar it's called being generous with part of what you've taken out of society now in my opinion nothing teaches us character better than generosity no class no teacher no book help people that can't help themselves support worthy projects or if you belong to a church they teach tithe piece of that's very important okay next ten cents i call active capital active capital means do something to make a profit active capital set aside a portion of your income wages are okay but i'm telling you wages will make you a living profits will make you a fortune.
So set aside part of your income as capital called active capital any kind of project you can possibly think of you can possibly come up with so 10 cents out of your living out of the money you earn set aside for capital capital to try your best to show a profit i mean you know it doesn't take long to figure out some enterprise that'll start making a profit then you must jot this down if you're taking notes profits are better than wages one you can't usually start wages until you're about 16 15 16 but you can make a profit long before you're eligible to start earning wages and then there's no limit to profits.
And they can they can double and triple and quadruple you know there's no limit it's incredible how fast profits can grow so profits are better than wages wages make you a living profits make you a fortune now the third ten cents is vitally important i call it passive capital capital you let somebody else use a financial institution stocks and bonds mutual funds whatever let someone else use it you furnish the money.
They use it to make a profit but they pay you for the use of it called interest and here's one of the things that'll make you financially independent fairly quickly and that's called compound interest and this is how you get it letting someone else use a portion of your money your substance they show the profit they pay you interest and this passive capital i'm telling you over a sustained period of time if you'll develop this little 10 10 10 and 70 especially starting at age 15 i'm telling you by the time you're 35 you will be financially independent.
You'll have the ability to live from the income of your own resources and then one more point on passive capital there's a bible philosophy i'm an amateur on the bible but there's a bible philosophy that teaches the borrower is servant to the lender and if you want to be in a powerful position as you grow older finally when you become mature maybe have your own business.
Things have worked out for you for the future the position you always want to be in is the power position and that's called the lender the lender is the power position so if kids learn early enough and then you ask them what they'd like to be when they grow up i'm telling you once they understand they'll say well one of the things.
I want to be is one of those lenders that's the power position not the spender no you'll be pitied the rest of your life if you just become a spender you've got to become a lender and i think this is one formulas to follow 10 cents out of every dollar let someone else use it be the lender power position then try to show a profit capital belongs in the hands of the state not in the hands of the people we've been teaching all these years capital belongs.
In the hands of the people not in the hands of the state and we turned out to be right capital in the hands of the kids capital in the hands of the people enterprises that make a profit enterprises that grow it's the hope of our future so that little simple formula i hope will help you now one more key on financial independence and that is attitude attitude here's number one i used to say i hate to pay my bills my teacher straightened me out on that he said let's see mr owen what you hate to do is pay a hundred dollars on an account.
And reduce your liabilities and increase your assets i said well no not if you look at it that way he said well it all depends on how you look at it so wouldn't you love to pay your bills reduce your liabilities increase your assets you got to have that kind of attitude.

A PUBLISHING COMPANY for LGBTQIA+ literature

A PUBLISHING COMPANY for LGBTQIA+ literature
Hi, my name is Emma and I run a publishing company that focus on LGBTQIA+. Emma is a writer and the founder of the publishing company Simusdotter Förlag.  We are a publishing company that gives out LGBTQIA+ related books surrounding fantasy,  sci-fi and horror genre. When I was a child I didn't found stories and literature that involved  me as a queer person, and I just found it so weird, and I was lacking the representation  around people, all people. I'm a bit confused, no not, because I usually say that i'm pansexual,  maybe bi, I have a little difficulty to just be one, but I would say that I''m mostly pansexual.
So why is representation important? Everyone should feel included also in literature and  all types of media that we use and not just one type of people. And she has felt this way  for a long time. I have a mother that read Harry Potter for me and my brother when we  were going to sleep. I just found it so amusing and wonderful to dive into a whole new world.
But even in Harry Potter I, it was in my opinion lacking some of the aspects of  representation. I think that Harry Potter and JK Rowling is kind of problematic in these days but  that was my dive into the literature, and then I've always been reading a lot. When I first  started writing, I immediately got into creating stories and stuff like that, so that's been my  path in life and I've always wanted to write and be a writer. And the authors they're working with  in the publishing company feels the same way about representation. The authors we are working with  in Simusdotter Förlag is people who also wants to broaden their representation in literature,  especially fantasy sci-fi and horror.
It's not always people in the queer community,  but we as a company wants to, of course include all people, but with the right, with the same  values. And I want, we want everyone to feel welcome to our publishing company and that's our  our most important value, in our work. Let's back up a little bit and listen to how Emma started  the company. When I first wrote my first novel, I didn't have the publishing company at that time. I  sent it around to other publishing companies and wanted it to be published but they didn't want it,  so they they said just "no we're not interested", so I was a bit bummed at the time.
And I decided  that no one would rule over my dreams, so I took care of it and started my publishing company by  myself first and I published my first novel as an e-book in the 2019. And then in 2020 I included  my best friend and co-worker Katarina Deering Wallander and my fiance Anton Holgersson in the  work with the company, and in 2020 we published two more novels. It's been an amazing ride. And  it's going well for them. We are publishing more and more books and with more writers  that have the same same value as us and it's been amazing to see the writers enthusiasm and  yeah, they they really want to work with with us and we really want to work with them so it's been  amazing to read those awesome stories, and with the people included from all different kinds of  identities and yeah.
They have also done some collabs with other queer companies.  As a publishing company we try to support the community so we are hoping to grow  around the community as well and not just "ah here's literature", so we want to include the  whole community in our publishing company and and more people more, queer people also so we  want everyone to be welcome, or feel welcome and not be afraid of throwing themselves out there,  because we we want everyone to be included in our company. And some final words: When I started this  publishing company I was a dreamer and I wanted to dream about this whole thing, and our slogan is  "a publishing company where we allow ourselves to dream" and that's what it's all about.

5 Affiliate Marketing MISTAKES Beginners Make

5 Affiliate Marketing MISTAKES Beginners Make (that lose $$$!)
- We're gonna cover the five biggest affiliate marketing mistakes that many beginners make when they're getting started, that can easily cost you a ton of time, reduce your passive income, and add a lot of extra headaches. So if you're looking to start making money with affiliate programs, these are super simple things that you can put in place upfront, that will pay dividends down the road. But you won't find them in most affiliate marketing tutorials for beginners. Hey, it's Justin Brown here from Primal Video, where we help you grow an audience and scale your revenue with online video. And a big part of that is affiliate marketing.
Now we've tried and tested a ton of strategies over the last five years, and we now generate hundreds of thousands of dollars every year, almost completely passively. So the tips that we're about to cover, some of the biggest lessons that we've learned the hard way in getting to this point. So this video is designed to save you time. And as we're going through, if you're seeing value in this content, make sure you're giving the video a big thumbs up. It really does make a huge difference.
So number one then is to always think long-term. Now, I used to think that this went without saying, but unfortunately, a lot of people seem to skip straight past this one. Whatever product you're going to promote, always make it a win, win, win. So it's a win for the company, and for the product, or service you're gonna promote.
It's a win for your viewers and for your audience because you're helping them with a buying or purchasing decision, which then means it becomes a win for you as well, receiving a commission for that lead or for that sale.
So what I'm getting at here is never be an affiliate or recommend a product that you wouldn't recommend to your closest friends or a family member. Trust is hugely important, but a lot of marketers focus on which products and services are gonna give them the biggest commissions rather than the best solutions for their audience. Not only is that unethical, but recommending that other people spend their hard-earned cash, just so you can earn a quick buck is the fastest way to lose their trust. So they'll never listen to you again. So always look to maximize the value that you provide to your audience, and only recommend the products and services that you know are going to actually help them.
So I focus on the best products and never the best commissions, and in the longterm, everyone wins. So now that we've got that one out of the way, the second big mistake is number two, not using your own redirect links. Affiliate programs, change their links, all the time. Meaning your unique link that's tracked back to you could change at any given moment. And if you've got a ton of these things out there and they change, then you'd have to go back manually across everywhere that you've ever posted them, and manually update them.
If you don't have redirect links in place. So here's an example of what a redirect link looks like. This is a link that we own and that we can control and that we can update and change where this is gonna be pointed to, or where the person that clicks the link is gonna be taken to at any given moment. So when they're clicking this link, we're able to redirect them to our affiliate link over if we'd like them to go. So to manage the bulk of our affiliate links, we use a WordPress plugin called Thirsty Affiliates.
And for any of our Amazon links, we use a service called Genius Link to manage that redirection. That there's lots of other options out there as well. You've things like Pretty Links, which is also a WordPress plugin, or there's also services like BIT.LY.
Now, if you don't have a WordPress site, this will be a massive tool for growing your affiliate income over time.
I guess this is like a little extra tip that will sneak in here, but this is an example how powerful it can be. Check out our resources page. On here we put all of our up-to-date gear and software recommendations all on this one page. And thousands of hours subscribe as it each and every day to help with their buying decisions.
Then whenever there is an affiliate program that's available for one of these products or services that we recommend, then we'll register for it and we'll use those links on that page.
So this is a great example of a win-win page that you can build to help your audience and to generate extra income at the same time. These days, it's easy to get a WordPress site set up and you can also use it then to manage your redirect links with a plugin like Thirsty Affiliates. For anyone starting out, and you can get up and running for just a few dollars a month with a WordPress hosting plan from a low-cost host like SiteGround, which is where we started out ourselves. And why we recommend it. I'll include our affiliate link for that one down in the description box below.

See what I did there? And that brings us to number three, which is not actually reading the terms of service or the terms and conditions for each of the affiliate programs that you are a part of, some programs have super strict terms of service.
And one of the most well-known programs for this is Amazon. It's a great affiliate program, but they have some very strict requirements. And they're also notorious for just blocking affiliate accounts with no notice, if you're found to be in violation of their terms.
We've heard of several YouTube channels making thousands of dollars each month, having the Amazon affiliate account switched off without any notice. And it can take months to get it back online, if you can get it reactivated at all. if we're looking at yeah, Amazon specifically, and you're feeling a little overwhelmed, then Genius Link has a great resource for helping you interpret the Amazon affiliate program requirements. And I'll link that one in the description below as well. It's definitely worth the read to get you across all the different ins and outs of the Amazon program.
So that brings us to number four, which is not diversifying.
Now, I've seen plenty of folks build their entire business around just one or two affiliate programs, only to have the company have their commission or block them from the program completely. So make sure that you're diversifying here. Now, interestingly, we were working with Genius Link to split test our affiliate link conversions, and we actually found that giving people more choice. So BNH and Amazon versus just Amazon, resulted in more commissions.
So not only does diversifying reduce your reliance on any one program and build a more sustainable business, it results in more income and a much better experience for your audience. If you wanna find out more about that testing I'll link to Genius Links' article down in the description box below as well. And when we're still on the topic of not diversifying, is not just about linking to the same products across multiple sites either. Start by making a list of all the products and all the services that you use and that you trust and that you recommend. And then you'll have the makings of an awesome recommended resources list, featuring a wide range of companies that you're happy to recommend to your friends.
Our recommended resources page is a great example that you can use to help spark some inspiration.
And number five then is not reviewing your affiliate links. This is something that a lot of people miss, and this is a place where a lot of people are leaving a lot of money on the table. So we're talking about here is over time, you could potentially have a ton of different affiliate links out there across your YouTube channel in your video descriptions, across your websites, and everywhere else that you're going to be posting them. But also over time, things change, your recommendations might change.
The company might change. The products could not exist or might be out of stock, or even the affiliate programs may have moved to a different service or a different provider, meaning that your link is no longer working.
So what I'm talking about here is to periodically check your affiliate links, to make sure that they are healthy, to make sure that they're working, and that they're taking people where you want them to go. Now, going back to number two, where we spoke about using redirect links and the plugins that we use, Thirsty Affiliates and Genius Link, both of these make this link reviewing process really, really easy. They'll actually do a link health check for you and quickly tell you at a glance which links that going to a web page that may not be there anymore, or on the Genius Link side of things, it'll even tell you if I specific Amazon product is out of stock.
And that makes it really easy for you to just replace that to maybe another seller on Amazon, that's selling that and has it in stock, or to swap that out for a completely different product. So for us and reviewing our links, this is something that we're doing every few weeks, just to make sure that we're able to help our people get to the right place and that our affiliate links are actually working. So those are the five biggest mistakes that new affiliate marketers make. Now on the topic of affiliate marketing and Amazon affiliate marketing specifically, if you want to know the six biggest ways that you can maximize your earnings, then check out the video linked on screen, and I'll see you in the next one. Amazon Affiliate Program - 6 Ways to MAXIMIZE Your Earnings!

Amazon Affiliate Program - 6 Ways to MAXIMIZE Your Earnings!
- I'm gonna share the top six strategies that we use to maximize our earnings in the Amazon affiliate program, including how to easily recapture commissions that most people are losing every time they use their Amazon affiliate marketing links. Hey it's Justin Brown here from Primal Video where we hope you grow an audience and scale your revenue with online video. If you're new here, make sure to click that subscribe button and all the links to everything we mentioned in this video. You can find link in the description box below. Let's jump into it.
Now whenever we're looking to buy a physical product, Amazon is usually the first place that we look. So we have absolutely no issues at all recommending it and it just so happens that they also have an amazing affiliate program. So in this video, we're gonna be covering these six simple strategies that we've implemented to not only capture otherwise lost commissions, but also to maximize our earnings and how you can easily implement them in your Amazon affiliate marketing strategy right now as well.
Now just before we dive in, a really quick disclaimer. Amazon is constantly updating their terms of conditions for their affiliate program and what is accepted one day might be against the rules the next.
They are widely recognized for strictly enforcing these rules and sometimes without warning. So even though this stuff is working for us right now, always make sure to review their terms of service to ensure that you are in compliance and that includes doing your own due diligence before implementing anything that we cover in this video. Now as a little bonus at the end of this video I'm also gonna cover the top three most common reasons that I've seen people get banned from the programs so that you can avoid the same problems because honestly some of them aren't that obvious. So strategy number one is to sign up for multiple Amazon associate programs not just the one in your region but in other regions as well. I think right now there are 12 different regions or 12 different Amazon associate programs for different regions around the world.
And a lot of people aren't aware that they can actually do this and this can dramatically increase your affiliate revenue on Amazon especially if you combine it with the next two platforms that I'm gonna mention as well. So each of the different Amazon affiliate programs for each of the different regions will actually only earn you a commission inside of that region. So in order to earn a commission on a sale from someone purchasing in the U-S you need to be signed up with the U-S Amazon Associates program.
Likewise in Australia, you need to be a member of the Australian Associates program. And each of your affiliate links for each of those associated programs will only earn you a commission in one location.
So let's say that I have registered for the U-S Amazon Associate program. I send out my link. If someone is from Australia they click on my U-S link, they're then redirected to the Australian store and purchase on there, then I don't receive a commission for that because my link is for the U-S program. And likewise. It works that way no matter which associate program you're with.
Now to help with this, you can use Amazon's one link.
That's what they call it. It's a service that helps with the redirecting of the users to their local store while still passing through your tracking details. Now this is slowly rolling out. It's definitely not out there for everyone yet and it currently doesn't support all the countries or all the different regions and it only works if you're linking from your website.
These links with Amazon OneLink don't work on YouTube yet so hopefully they sort that out in the future. But this will lead us straight on to strategy number two which is using Geniuslinks. Now Geniuslink is essentially doing what that Amazon Onelink promises to do but it does it right now and it works really well and it's also got a bunch of extra functionality in there as well. So what you do in Geniouslink is you add in all of your affiliate details for all of the different Amazon affiliate programs that you've signed up to cause you're now signing up to multiples and it generates you one link, one Geniuslink that you can send out to people.
They're gonna be automatically redirected to their local Amazon store and your affiliate link or affiliate tracking I-D is passed along with this.
Now just from implementing Geniuslinks alone we've had a big increase in our affiliate revenue on Amazon because our links are now being tracked across the multiple Amazon programs. They also have amazing reporting in there showing you all the links that you've generated. If products are out of stock in different regions, if something is no longer available you can actually get alerts and those sorts of things through to your email to let you know to update that link and point it to a different product. And there's a heap of other features and really detailed reporting and stuff in there as well. So pricing Virginia's links at five dollars per month and it scales with the amount of link clicks that you're actually getting.
So totally amazing service. Geniuslinks, well played. That brings us to strategy number three is to use kit.co. Now kit.co is actually now owned by Genius or Geniuslinks which is probably why that's so good too. So what Kit lets you do is essentially build out kits or groups of Amazon links and put them in one place. So for example we use this on our Resources page. We've built our kits for different things like the best live-streaming gear or even my YouTube studio set up gear. We've created kits for these where it's one place that people can go.
It's all of our top recommended gear or top recommended products and all of them are direct links to Amazon but they are Amazon affiliate links. And just like Geniuslinks it also does that automatic redirection to the users local Amazon store and still passes through your affiliate tracking information as well. Now another cool thing with Kit is that it's also its own search engine. So you can use your YouTube S-E-O skills to rank your products or your affiliate links on kit.co as well.
And again if you're looking to level up on the youtube S-E-O side of things or the keyword ranking side of things, then make sure you stick around cause I've got a resource for you towards the end of this video. Now in terms of pricing, Kit is totally free. You actually get 100% of your Amazon earnings. They make their money from people who create kits and forget to put their Amazon Associate information in and they use theirs in that case. So as long as you're putting in your Amazon Associate information you'll make 100% of your Amazon earnings through kit.co as well. So that's strategy number three, using kit.co. Strategy number four is using redirect links. Now starting out you might think that you don't need to do this but trust me this is gonna save you so much time and potentially a lot of headaches in the long run.
So what I'm talking about is creating a redirect link, a link that you share out that will redirect people to your affiliate link. So you're not just sharing out the affiliate link that you get from Amazon, you're using your own version of it. So in our case, a lot of our affiliate links are redirect links. We use primalvideo.com/go/ the product or the service.
So then if for some reason we needed to update our affiliate link.

We're able to just update that on our end, on our website and that then is redirecting to wherever we'd like it to go. So this alone could save you an absolute ton of time because you're not then going to have to go back to potentially hundreds of YouTube videos or blog posts or articles or anything to update each link manually. You can do it once on your end cause you're just changing where that link is redirecting to. So effectively this is gonna let you quickly and easily update a product or a link in one place that's then gonna be pushed out everywhere.
Now in terms of how you can actually set up and create and manage your redirect links for us right now for Amazon we are primarily using Geniuslinks for this as well.
But to manage redirect links in general outside of the Amazon stuff as well, then we also use a WordPress plugin called ThirstyAffiliates which is again really simple to use. Now one thing I do wanna note here is that Amazon says that you need to make it clear that any redirect link that you use is taking people to Amazon. So for us we use the word Amazon in brackets in our link text so that we're clearly indicating to people that these links are going to redirect and take people to Amazon.
Now this is something that they might update in the future and the wording on this can still be a little gray right now.
Now Geniuslinks have done their own reviews and they have liaised with the Amazon Associates team and for now this appears to be acceptable. But do your own reviews and I will link an article from Geniuslinks below in the description if you want more information on this. So that brings us then to strategy number five which is a resources page or a gear page or the-stuff-that-you-recommend-other-people-use page. So this is one place where you list out all of the stuff that you recommend. Gear, books, audio books services, courses and of course this also includes your Amazon links as well.
So for us on our website we have a resources page primalvideo.com/resources and it's all the stuff that we use and that we recommend to our audience. So for us on this page we also have a combination of some of the things we have mentioned in this video as well. We literally have our kit.co kits embedded on our resources page.
Things like the gear that I use and recommend. All of those kits are embedded on that page. So not only are they working for us in their S-E-O goodness on kit.co they're also on our page to make it easy for people to find everything all in one place as well. And this is something that I wanna stress, you don't need to overthink.
You could just create a simple one-page website with something like Wix or a Squarespace or something. Don't over complicate it. Just make it easy for your followers or for your audience to find the stuff that you use and that you recommend without them needing to ask you. I can't stress how huge this has been for us.
But the biggest strategy and probably the most important strategy is strategy number six and that is to be authentic and to focus on adding value for your audience.
And I really should go without saying but only recommend the products and services that you've tried, that you've tested. The stuff that you recommend for your audience. There's too many people out there giving affiliate marketing a bad name by just picking the products that aren't necessarily the best products that have the best commissions or the highest payouts. But I also see these days that people are getting more and more switched on to it and they can tell when something's not authentic or not real. So always try to come from that place where you're adding value and really trying to go that extra mile for your audience.
If there are multiple versions of something that you recommend with maybe different add-ons or different pricing spend the time to work out which one you recommend people buy and link it to that.
Make the buying experience better for your users. You're gonna end up saving them a ton of time and you're going to maximize the likelihood that they're going to buy from you and that you'll earn a commission. Now if you're mentioning a product and there are additional add-on products that are needed to make something work then you could actually create affiliate links for those too. So for example we always talk about the different types of cameras and the different types of microphones but we also create affiliate links for any of the cable adapters or anything that's required to actually connect the two together.
This way people who already have the camera, already have the audio gear, can then easily get the add-ons or the accessories they need to make the whole thing work.
So your goal here is to really make it as easy as you can for your audience to achieve a specific outcome and then they're going to look for your links and look for your recommendations to help them get to that outcome. Now earlier in this video I said I'd share with you three simple things to help you avoid getting banned on Amazon. So quick disclaimer. Their privacy policy, their terms of services are always changing and this is just what we've seen people getting banned for.
So avoid this stuff and all costs and make sure to review the terms of services or terms of conditions frequently. So the first one is don't indicate any incentive or reward for people to click your links, monetary or otherwise.
What a lot of people don't realize is that this also means no mentions that people will be supporting you if they click your links. We've seen people getting banned for this and we've even got a warning for something similar in the past. The second one is to always identify yourself as an Amazon affiliate and make sure that any earning disclosures are exactly as Amazon requires.
They set out some exact wording for this and make sure you get the latest version from their terms of service and use that. And the third one is to make sure it's clear that everyone who clicks your Amazon affiliate links will be directed to Amazon. Well it's not an issue if you're using Amazon's links. If you're using any sort of redirects then it does become a bit of a gray area. As I mentioned earlier Geniuslinks has done their research and they say that they've got the tick of approval from Amazon but you need to at least indicate next to those links that they go to Amazon's website with an Amazon in brackets or something similar if it's not otherwise clear and obvious.
So stay safe. It's an awesome affiliate program. You just don't wanna jeopardize your earnings and have them disappear overnight because of one oversight. They do monitor these stuff and we've seen some big channels get shut down so don't take any chances. But enough of the negativity.
Now that you've got these tactics if you're looking to maximize the traffic that you're sending to Amazon then grab your copy of our free YouTube ranking guide which is linked on screen now.
This is gonna help you with the tools and the strategies to help you get your content ranking on both YouTube and on Google. I'll see you in the next one..
