Best Affiliate Niches in 2022 (Backed By Data)

Best Affiliate Niches in 2022 (Backed By Data)

- In this video, I'm gonna analyze some extremely rare data to be able to tell you once and for all, what are the best affiliate niches on the planet? My name is Matt Diggity and I make a full-time living off of building affiliate websites through my company LeadSpring. I've teamed up with my buddies at Empire Flippers, the biggest curated marketplace for affiliate websites, to mine some killer data about affiliate niches. Empire Flippers helps affiliate website owners sell their sites to potential buyers. When doing so, they gather a ton of information, information like, what is the niche, how much money does it make, how much content was added to the site, how many links were built, and how many hours per week did it take to run it?

And they've agreed to send me these stats for every affiliate and display ad website they've sold since January 2019.

That's over 300 of them, and I'm gonna crunch these numbers to figure out which niches are the best to get into from multiple perspectives. Here's how I'm planning on attacking this challenge. Sure, we're gonna look at the obvious stuff like which niches on average made the most money, but what I think you're really gonna be interested in is, which niches have the best return on investment, or ROI? Sure, a niche that makes 20K per month is great, but not if it takes 18K per month to attain it, right?

We're looking for the opposite, where a site is making 20K per month, but it only takes pennies to run it. And for that, I'm gonna look at the two most important costs that affiliates spend on when building affiliate websites, and that's content and links. We'll look at how much revenue the niche makes versus how much content needs to be built.

Also we'll look at revenue versus the link investment people need to make, and why the hell not, the revenue versus how many hours per week they put into the site. And let me tell you, the results are eye-opening.

And to cap things off at the end, I'm gonna answer the big showdown question: What makes more money and has better ROI, Amazon affiliate, non-Amazon affiliate, or display ads, and by how much? Now if you appreciate what I'm doing here, let me know by investing in that Like button. The ROI of pressing the Like button is instant. It helps my channel out a ton, plus it makes the YouTube algorithm gods shine a favorable light on this video. Thanks.

We'll start to take a look at this data starting with, which niche makes the most money? Please note though, Empire Flippers is a standup company, and while they supplied me with a ton of data, they obviously didn't reveal the actual sites that were sold, but I got all the data I need to break things down at the niche level.

Here's a list of the top 20 niches in terms of the average revenue of the sites in these niches, and right off the bat, we have some surprising results. Holy (beep), no pun intended, I didn't expect to see the religion and spirituality niche coming up as number one. For those that aren't familiar with this niche, it has a lot to do with horoscopes, spiritual and psychic readings, along with getting your astrological sign plotted out and stuff like that.

And you might be surprised to know that a lot of these affiliate programs are high-ticket, like this one from Psychic Source that pays $100 per customer you send to them.

Second overall, we have the jewelry niche, which can get into stuff like recommending necklaces and rings to buy for your significant other. But instead of sending people to Amazon, I'd be sending them over to someone like this who pays 10%. Then in third, we have the lifestyle niche, which sounds very broad, and that's because it is, but think of stuff like backpacking and digital nomadism, which is extremely popular in this global age. Or even gardening falls under lifestyle, and my boy Kevin be killing it in this niche.

But one thing I wanted to point out: In some of these niche categories, Empire Flippers didn't sell a huge number of sites in the niche, and it's sort of skewing the data. For example, there were only two sites sold in the religion and spirituality niche, and one of them was making $24,000 per month, and the other was making $1,000. So it makes it seem like the religious niche is the bomb when we just really don't have enough data. I've highlighted the niches where we don't have enough data, so let's now remove them to see how things change.

Okay, this looks different indeed.

Now we have news and education in first place with an average earning of about 8K per month. Bear in mind that there's a big spread with the lowest news site making $800 per month, and the largest one making 20K. Sites in the education niche can cover topics like how to prepare for exams and certifications, which I know from experience is very lucrative. News I'm gonna assume is just news and they're going for a display ad monetization strategy here. After that, we have finance, which has always been a huge niche.

Typically finance is all about stuff like personal finance, credit, debt, et cetera, like NerdWallet, which I'm sure you've seen before. And then in third, we have the bed and bath category, which most definitely includes the infamous mattress niche. Enter at your own risk. Just bear in mind that people love to play naughty in this niche, and I'm not just talking about negative SEO here. Even the product manufacturers you're supposed to be working with can play hardball.

Now just for funsies, which niche do you think had the overall number one highest earning site? This one shocked me, but it was lifestyle. A lifestyle site was making nearly $45,000 per month. Whoever that was, good for you, coconut cowboy. If you wanna dive deeper on this data, check out the link in the pinned comment for the full write-up on this study.

Now that we've covered overall earnings, I'm super excited to dig into the return on investment figures that I mentioned earlier.

I mean, revenue is great, but profit is king. Let's look at the first ROI metric, which would be monthly revenue divided by the amount of content invested in terms of published pages. How much money per page do you make in these niches? In terms of content ROI, we have the medical niche on top.

This makes a lot of sense, as offers in this space are gonna have amazing conversion rates. I mean, if you snore like a bear every night and your wife or husband starts to hate you, you're gonna get it fixed pronto. And in the snoring niche, there's probably not an overwhelming amount of content you need to write in order to gain topical authority on the subject. But bear in mind, the medical and health niche is typically reserved for mega-authority sites or experienced SEOs. The medical niche also includes the famously profitable CBD and marijuana niches, which is high competition and high payout.

Get it? High? Okay, whatever. After that, we have of our friend the bed and bath niche in second place.

But in third place, when it comes to content ROI, we have the kitchenware niche.

The important thing to think of here is when it comes to content ROI is that what this really means is simply you don't have to write that much content in order to get a return, which likely means the topics are very narrow. For example, in the slow cooker niche, how much content would you really need to write to become an expert in it? A few articles on how to use, clean, and buy a slow cooker, and then maybe 20 recipes or so, and this applies to probably any appliance in the kitchen.

Start an authority site and just start building out these silos one by one, or you can make multiple micro-niche sites on each appliance. Here's another look at the full content ROI table.

After kitchen, we have apparel, sports, auto, et cetera. And then down here at the bottom, we have the health and fitness niche, which I can definitely say from experience has very poor content ROI. If you wanna become an expert on protein, do you have any idea how many protein topics there are that you have to write? Hundreds. I documented a $600,000 website flip in the health niche in a YouTube video on my channel, so make sure to check it out after you watch this video.

Next I wanna take a look at backlink ROI, namely how much money is made per backlink built, and the formula we're gonna use for this is revenue divided by backlinks, as found by Atris. For the super nerdy SEO aficionados here, bear in mind that we're talking about overall backlinks here, not individual referring domains. Empire Flippers just didn't have that data.

Here we go. Here's the top 20 niches as ordered by backlink ROI.

Best Affiliate Niches in 2022 (Backed By Data)

Office supplies are in first place, followed by our friends, medical and bed and bath. When you think of the office niche, we're not talking about paperclips and staplers here. Think of more high-end stuff like gaming and ergonomic chairs, or even standing desks. Ergonomic chairs was the first niche I ever really did well in, so I can definitely agree that the ROI is great. It's also a great niche that will trend upwards over time as people spend more and more time in front of screens.

Just look at how much the best ergonomic chair keyword has surged after the pandemic hit. Here's a refresh of the backlink ROI table. In fourth, we have legal, followed by finance, and then at the very bottom, we have niches like baby care and automotive. So keep this in mind when you get into these niches: People build a lot of links in these categories.

Now the next ROI category is interesting, but it's kind of a throwaway, and that's time ROI, namely, how much money do these niches make compared to how many hours per week are people putting into their sites?

And why do I say this figure is a throwaway? Because everyone and their grandma straight up lies about how much work they put into their site when it's time to list their site. Nonetheless, let's take a look anyways. So apparently when you're in the survival and security niche, you can make $2,860 per hour. Guys, everyone stop what you're doing right now.

The security niche is a money printing machine that only requires your diamond hands to log into WordPress, and your bank account will explode with tendies. As mentioned, I knew the table would be garbage. Let's ignore it, and I'll make it up to you as thanks for smashing the Like button. At the end of this video, I'm gonna give out my opinion on which niche has the best ROI overall. I'm also gonna let you know which monetization strategy is the best, affiliate versus Amazon versus display ads.

But before that, I thought it'd be interesting to plot out some pretty interesting graphs. The first graph is a histogram that shows how much content people are writing for their sites. On the x-axis, we see the amount of indexed content they have on their site, and on the y-axis, we have how many sites are in that bucket. For example, in the 75-to-100-page range, there were 18 websites sold. It seems like the meat of the bell curve falls within the 25-to-250-pages range, which seems about right just based on what I find when I'm doing my day-to-day affiliate research.

Similar to the first histogram, I have another one for backlinks. On the x-axis, we have the number of backlinks that were built to these sites, and on the y-axis, we have how many sites actually fell within that range. You can see here that most sites have between 250 and 2,000 links built to them, with a peak between 250 and 750 links.

As mentioned before, we're talking about total backlinks here, not referring domains. And if you wanna dig down into the niches themselves, here's a scatterplot showing how earnings stack up in the home niche versus how much content was published.

Each of these dots represents a site that was sold in the home niche. On the x-axis, we have the number of published pages. The y-axis represents the average monthly income of the site. As you can see, there's a wide range of earnings per content published, but you can definitely see a trend line here. The more you publish, the more you're likely to make.

Similarly, here's a home niche scatterplot for backlink ROI, and once again, you can see that generally, the more links a website has, the more money it makes, with some anomalies, of course.

If you wanna see scatterplots like these for all the top niches, check out the full write-up of the study, which I've left a link for in the description. Now before I get into which is the best niche overall, let's answer the question, which monetization strategy is the best hands down? And the battle is between straight-up affiliate, Amazon affiliate, and display ads. When it comes to average monthly revenue across all sites that Empire Flippers sold, here's how they all stack up.

Affiliate is on top with about 5 1/2 thousand dollar monthly revenue, followed by display ads with 3.6K, and then Amazon Associates with 2.7K. I freaking knew it, Amazon. You suck.

If you ever wanted to know why one of the first videos in the Affiliate Lab is literally called "Why We Don't Use Amazon," here's your reason.

They suck. Whenever you hear an affiliate marketing guru tell you, "Amazon has low commission rates, "but you make it up because they convert so well," now you know to run away. Let's get back to this table. When we're talking about affiliate affiliate, we're just talking about non-Amazon.

That could be promoting offers through ShareASale or through ClickBank, or even working one-on-one with manufacturers directly, which is my favorite way to operate. Most affiliate programs give commissions in the 10-to-50% range, which makes it no surprise whatsoever that this category came out on top. If you're looking for some recommendations of what are my favorite high-ticket affiliate programs, I left a link to a video in the description, so make sure to check it out after you're done watching this video.

In second place, we have display ads, which I have to say kinda surprised me that they came out on top of Amazon. My recommended display ad networks are AdThrive, Mediavine, Ezoic, and Newor.

Next, let's look at how much content and links are typically built in each of these monetization categories. In terms of content, display ads require the biggest investment, which makes sense. With ads, you're trying to write and rank for as much content as possible so you can slap display ads on it. After that comes affiliate, and after that comes Amazon Associates. If there's one thing to say about Amazon, I suppose you could say that you can build small sites.

Then if we look at the backlink column, display ads is on top again, but this begs the question, are people building more links to their display ad sites, or are they just coming in naturally because the nature of display ad sites causes them to create tons of informational content that could attract more links? Either way, display ad sites have more links, followed by Amazon, and then followed by affiliate.

All right, now it's time to look at ROI for the various monetization types. When it comes to content ROI, (beep) me, Amazon is on top. You'll earn more money per page of content written on Amazon sites than both affiliate and display ads combined.

Why? I can't be totally sure, but I think it's because you can make these hyper-targeted micro-niche sites around a single product, like miter saws, that don't need a whole bunch of supporting content to rank. When it comes to backlink ROI, we have affiliate on top, followed by Amazon, then followed by display ads, again with more ROI than the other two combined. Now based on this data, have I changed the way that I wanna monetize my sites? Not at all.

Traditional affiliate sites make more money overall and still have great ROI. Plus you can diversify your income sources and not rely on a company that doesn't give a doo-doo for its affiliates. So it's time to answer the overarching question, which is the best affiliate niche hands down? We've looked at overall earnings, where the spirituality, lifestyle, and jewelry niches reigned, but we have to consider ROI too, and these niches showed up outside of the top 20. So based on a lot of deliberation, I've decided to give the Best Niche Award to the medical niche.

Manage your Cloud Run secrets securely with Secret Manager

Manage your Cloud Run secrets securely with Secret Manager

MARTIN OMANDER: Hi, I'm Martin Omander, and today I'll tell you about a pain point from my previous developer jobs and how to solve it with modern technology. I wished I'd had this technology back then. Before my current job as a Developer Advocate at Google, I worked at a string of startups as a software engineer. I always struggled with how to store passwords, API keys, certificates, and other sensitive data. If I hardcoded these secrets into the source code, I had two problems.

One, anyone with access to the source repo could see the secrets. They could copy the secret somewhere else, and we didn't have auditing and access controls. And two, it would be hard to move code between dev, test, and production environments. Secrets typically differ between environments. So in my previous job, I did what the Twelve-Factor App methodology recommends.

I put the secrets in environment variables. That way they were not part of the code base. But the secrets had to be stored somewhere so I put them in a file, which I had to be careful not to check into source control. At one job, we burned secrets to a CD that we kept in the CIO's desk drawer. Handling files without source control is awkward.

I remember thinking that there must be a better way of doing it. Secret Manager and Google Cloud platform provides that better way. It has been generally available since March 2020. We recently added native integration with Cloud Run, which makes it easy to mount secrets in Cloud Run services. Let's see how we can update an existing Cloud Run service to use Secret Manager.

The service is a simple API that returns information about different dog breeds, like this. The code reads database, user, password, et cetera, from environment variables when it creates the database connection pool here. The environment variables are shown here in the Cloud Console in plaintext. So let's say we want a better control and auditing of the database password by moving it into Secret Manger.

We see here that the Cloud Run servers runs as Dog Breed API, a custom service account.

I used the principle of least privilege when I created this account, so it only has the Cloud SQL client role. This means that it can connect to Cloud SQL databases but nothing else. We will need to remember this account for the next step. Next, I will go to the Secret Manager in my project, create a new secret for the database password, and enter its value here. Now, let's see who can access this password.

The Dog Breed API is not in the list yet. Let's add it. Again, we're applying the principle of least privilege. The Dog Breed API account currently has access to db_password, but not any of the other secrets that we see here. This reduces risk.

Now, I'm ready to go back to the Cloud Run service. First, I remove the DB_PASS plaintext environment variable. I feel better already.

Manage your Cloud Run secrets securely with Secret Manager

Then, I'll add it back, but instead of entering the actual password, I will point DB_PASS to the password in Secret Manager. Then I click DEPLOY here so this change takes effect.

And look, the API still works. So, what did we achieve here? Well first, we can now use the principle of least privilege for the password and other secrets. We can define granular permissions for who can access which secrets and who can add new secrets. For example, we just configured it so our Cloud Run service can access, but not write, db_password in production.

And if only a few people in our dev team are allowed to handle secrets in production, we reduce the risk of downtime due to silly mistakes. I know. I once mistakenly deleted the production database at a previous job. Second, we now have auditing of this password.

By default, whenever it is created or updated we'll get a log entry like this.

I usually also turn on additional logging so there will be an entry for whenever a secret is accessed as well. And we achieved all this without changing a single line of source code. Delightful. But what if our existing code reads secrets from a file instead of environment variables? No problem.

We can configure Cloud Run so that secrets look like files to the source code. Pretty neat. I should also mention there is a third way of accessing secrets from source code. Our code could make a call to the Secret Manager client library every time it needs a secret. This obviously means that we have to update our source code, but every time we call the client library we will get the current value of the secret.

So this method is useful if we expect secrets to change often and we don't want to redeploy our Cloud Run servers every time that happens.

The same is true when we read secrets as a file. If we access secrets as environment variables and we update a secret, we need to redeploy the Cloud Run service to get the latest value of that secret. This has been an introduction to using Cloud Run with Secret Manager. The docs have a lot more information, like best practices for how to manage permissions, how to rotate your secrets to reduce risk, and how to version secrets.

Also, in the description below, you will find a link to the source code I used. I really hope that this makes it easier for you to build secure systems. As developers, our code may be entrusted with some very sensitive data. We carry a big responsibility. Let's live up to it.

Couple Describes The Day They Learned Hackers Breached Their Smart Home Devices

Couple Describes The Day They Learned Hackers Breached Their Smart Home Devices

Our family installed a video security system in our home this past July. So when I work away from home, I like to see my family. If they're in the kitchen. And I'd say something to them and I thought that was pretty cool. On September 19th of this year, I was upstairs in my shop and I heard my little girl go, Daddy, Daddy, is that you?

I sat right here and then the cameras just went on.

What did you hear? They started to say my name and your name. I walked down my stairs and I saw my daughter sitting on the couch and I could hear the cameras going off. There was more than one voice so they would speak in French, and then go back and speak to my daughter.

We know your daddy's not home, go get Brooklyn. A sheer panic went over me and that's when I called by husband. When Brooklyn called me and told me that we were getting hacked, my heart dropped. So I immediately told her to hang up the phone, to dial 911. 911 told me to grab my children and get out of the house.

We ran out the front door and they started talking through the doorbell. Come back inside, where are you? I had my one-year-old in my arm and my eight-year-old in between my legs crying. The police came, the cameras went off again, and you said, oh, Mrs. Texas, you called the police on us.

The police said, who are you? And all of the voices in all of the cameras started laughing and it was the scariest day of my life.

She thought it was the scariest day of her life but just two weeks later, the nightmare got worse when the hacker contacted Brooklyn on social media. About two weeks after that initial attack, I received a message on a social media platform and it said, Brooklyn, I wanna ask you a question. I told my wife to ahead and answer it and they admitted that they were the hackers.

They started saying, we just wanted to let you know that your password had been stolen. And I said, okay, I get your point, you scared us, find a new hobby.

As soon as I sent that message, things turned for the worse. He said, since you would like to act like a little (beep), now we're entering into phase two. We are now gonna be taking action against you.

Let's see the cops stop what they can't see. A few minutes later, I received a phone call. There was a voice message that was left. Make sure to tell Brooklyn that she's dead.

Couple Describes The Day They Learned Hackers Breached Their Smart Home Devices

I heard it over and over again.

It said, make sure to tell Brooklyn that she's dead. Make sure to tell Brooklyn that she's dead. Everything got very real. I was afraid that there was somebody truly after my wife. This wasn't a silly person hacking into a camera system.

This was someone that was out to get me. I was terrified. Until it's happened to you, it is hard to imagine how real this gets, isn't it? Absolutely. You don't think that anything like this would ever happen to you or your family.

You see it in movies, you see it with celebrities, but not just a normal mama. This is not like Hollywood or New York City or whatever. Suburbia. Yeah, and so you don't expect, how do I get found there? But you say the hacker spoke to your daughter whenever she got home from school.

How did that happen? She comes in from school, goes upstairs, says hello to me, I was in my shop working. Walks downstairs and not five minutes later, the cameras started beeping and I know the beeping noise because my husband would beep in and go, hi, how are you, how's school? If he's not home.

But I heard men's voices and I heard my daughter going, daddy, is that you, is that you?

And I walked down the stairs and she's sitting on the couch in camera view and I hid behind the wall because I immediately got terrified. My heart sunk in my chest. I heard these voices, they were yelling in French. And they were saying her name and they were telling her, go get Brooklyn. And I knew then that something wasn't right.

You now know that they know who you are, what your business is, where you live. They know everything about you. Children's names, yeah. And that's what you say, you didn't know how to protect against this, right? Correct, no.

'Cause what do you do? You can't go slap at the air. What do you do? I felt very powerless. My heart dropped, like I got this cold feeling over myself.

And that's when I told her she had to hang up and dial 911.

And so because they knew where y'all live and had so much information on you, you don't know whether it's safer to stay inside your home where they have access or whether you can let your daughter go to school. Are they gonna show up not in the virtual world but in the real world?.

How To Spy On Your Competitor's Facebook Ads - Steal What You KNOW Is Working

How To Spy On Your Competitor's Facebook Ads - Steal What You KNOW Is Working

Hey, what is going on everyone, Ravi Abuvala here, founder of scalingwithsystems.com. So one of the questions I get all the time, whether it's one of our clients inside scaling with systems, a friend or even a family member that's trying to run ads on Facebook for the first time is, Ravi how do I know what I should be running? How do I know what my ad should say? Should I use a video show?

I use an image to be a stock photo should be a personal photo. What's the words that I should use? A.K.A.

What's the copy on it? And the truth is, the right copy can make you literally millions of dollars were the wrong copy can actually cost you tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of dollars. And in this video, I'm going to show you exactly how you can find and use the right copy for your business so that you can make money from the beginning.

So you've been following me for a while. You might know some of these tools or you may have never heard some of this stuff before, but it's important you pay attention, this entire video, because I think give you some reasoning behind this.

So a lot of people come to me and they go, Rovi, how do I know what type of ad I should be using on Facebook? Right. I think everybody here, if you're watching this video, if you follow me, you follow scaling with systems. You probably know by now that online advertising is probably one of the most powerful and powerful things you can do inside of your company in order to generate sales and profit as soon as possible.

Organic and referals is a great way to grow a company, but if you can add in paid advertising on top of it, you can literally set on fire your company, your sales, funnel, your leads and your pipeline.

And that's exactly what we do inside scaling a system. So this exact training going to show you in this video is the same stuff I do for other people inside cooling systems that allows people that I've never run ads before, literally never run ads.

Don't know anything about Facebook advertising to set up an ad, haven't converted from day one and beginning, you know, $3 or $5 appointments. I'm one guy right now generating three dollar appointments with chiropractors or to speak with them for marketing services and is using the exact same method I'm talking about here. And so this will give you a great idea on what you should use inside your company and what you know is already working.

Let's just dove right in the computer right here and I'll show you right now.

OK, guys. So you may or may not know what this is, is called Facebook ads library. It's w-w-what Facebook.com slash ad slash library.

OK, and the very cool thing with this Facebook came out with this, I think a year ago and a year or two ago, essentially. And what it allows you to do is it allows you to look at other people's advertising campaigns. And if you've been in this game long enough, you probably know that anybody that does anything great. Most likely, they're building what's known on the shoulders of giants. So it's like, hey, someone else did something great before you.

So why not take all the money that they've spent, the time, the energy, and change it a little bit to fit your own model and then use that instead of starting from scratch? It's not copying. I'm not saying copy and paste people stuff, but I am saying that it's a lot smarter to find something that's working from somebody else and your own little twist on it to run it yourself.

Because that other person, as I'm going to show you here in a second, has already spent literally hundreds of hours, thousands of dollars and thousands of millions of dollars proving a framework. So there's no need for you to do that.

That's why exactly what I'm going to show you here is how we are profitable from day one when we launch a campaign. So this is Facebook ads, library. Essentially, the idea behind it is that you can see the ads that other Facebook pages are running. So, you know, when there's all these like scandals of Facebook, they essentially wanted to be like, hey, I want to show you every single ad that we're running.

You guys can all see it here and see how long they've been running it for, how much money they're spending, all that kind of stuff.

And you can see the whole funnel attach the back end of it. And so your minds probably already working right now. But just so I can walk you through it. You can type in the name of anybody you want to write here and you can see all the ads are running for their company.

So let's just go and see.

What you do is like, oh, if you're trying to run ads for your company, you know, you think about. Right. What's your what's your market? Right. So maybe your market is real estate investors or maybe your mortgage rules and agents.

So then, you know, you can come to Google and type in real estate investors, you know, business or you can type and you got to really want to find out who is your who is your main competitor, who's the one that's spending the most money and who's the one that's dominating the market. And if you've been in the business long enough, you probably already know who your main competitors are. But like, let's say you type in real estate investors or real estate investor influencers. Right. That's a good one.

So then you can see like people like Brian Torsella, Tom Faery, all these people in here and you can see that they are real estate influencers and most influencers have some kind of product behind them.

So let's just take Tom Berry, for example, here. So, you know, because you did a little bit of research or because you had to because, you know, you've been in the business long enough that Tom Berry is a big competitor of yours. Tom Barry's running millions of dollars with the ad. You're not running any ads.

You want to get a piece of the action. So what do we do? We come into Facebook ads, Mark ads like right here we type in Tom Faery. Here is Tom Faery here. It's the one that obviously has two hundred five thousand likes on it and boom, literally.

Just like that, I can see every single ad that Tom Barrett is running on his profile right now. And you can literally see the ad. The ad copy, where the links go to. You can see the photos that he's using. So this is already incredibly powerful.

Right. I mean, you can see the different countries is running up top, etc, etc. But the truth is, I'm going to take you a little bit closer here and show you where most people just like everything else I do inside the shed. I'll make sure you like and subscribe where most people fall short as they just say, oh, here you go, start running these ads. I'll give you an issue.

This is the ad sort of running on April 10th to 2020.

Right now, it's April 12th, 2020. So to be honest with you, Tom very doesn't know this ad is working or not. Yeah, there's not a enough time that has been spent for him and all of this ads working or not. But if you come here and you scroll down and you go back to his mode long for this back and started running.

September 11, 2019. So that is, what, five months ago he started running this ad. And he's still running this ad today, an instrument of 18000 likes on Facebook.

How To Spy On Your Competitor's Facebook Ads - Steal What You KNOW Is Working

So he probably has a good bit of a budget behind this. So let's just say, you know, conservatively, he's spending a thousand dollars a day running an ad like this for five months.

So five times thirty is one hundred and fifty. So he's probably spent some one hundred and fifty thousand dollars roughly running this exact same man. Tom Perry is either number one, a genius. And this ad is converting really well. Or number two, he's very dumb and he just lost one hundred and fifty thousand dollars.

Which one do you think it is? Right. Obviously, as a former of those. So then you can know that he's running the ad for a long time, has a good chance. And it's working, right.

September 11, September eleven. And so these are things that you can start seeing. I wouldn't ever run an ad that just they launched today, yesterday, even the past seven days.

I've come to profile's because I do this as well. I look at my competitors where I see ads running for a year plus and they're big guys running for a year plus they're really an ad for a year.

Plus, there's a good chance that that ad is making the money. And so all I have to do is take this similar copyright. You can do this whole copier, take a similar image, and then I'll even do as open a link in a new tab. And I could even go inside of there back in and see what the whole funnel looks like. I can create the exact same funnel as this on something like click funnels or WordPress, whatever it is.

And I can just go through this whole thing and see what happens if I schedule my enter my information here or schedule for your call.

What does that include? And I can make my exact funnel the same as Tom Faery. So I obviously don't copy and paste. It's not what I'm telling you guys do, but I'm telling you this for the longest time.

You know, if you wanted to see what your competitors were doing, you had to have like a mole or a spy inside of that company. But the beautiful thing about online advertising, one of the million beautiful things about it is that everything is open and you can see how everything works. And so if you were able to find an ad that's been running for five months and it's connected to a funnel and you know that this person is making money because they've been run over five months, you can take that exact same ad, make it your own that exact same funnel, make it her own.

And then instead of it leading to Tom Faery on the back end, it leads to you on the back end and now you're the one making money. It's as simple as that.

You can do it for anybody, any edit. And the other thing is, well, let's say you don't know. Let's say you service chiropractor's, for example, right? So you can go on this little search bar here and type in chiropractor. Chiropractor, right.

And maybe you do run ads for chiropractor or maybe you're curious what other people are using to run as a chiropractor. So let's say here's Ruth's family car back at one point seven thousand likes. And, you know, obviously likes are exactly like indication. Their Facebook page lists aren't exactly the occasion or the followers of how successful, how much money that's been on ads. But, you know, it is a good indication.

Honestly, it is a good indication. So, Dr. Joshua, I know he's a chiropractor, 3.4 thousand like. So here is OK.

So he actually looks like he is running ads to chiropractors. Is that what it seems like right now? Elevator fracture to the next level. I always go all the way down. This one's running February 1st, 2020.

So, too, over two months, he's been running this ad right now. So I was starting chiropractors. I probably watched this video and see exactly what he's saying. I'll see if I can do something similar. I'd see the copy, see if I can do something similar, and I create a similar funnel from that as well, I guess.

Well, let's see. We're actually trying to service chiropractors where we're trying to get the more patients.

Right. Chiropractor Terry, if you guys are a on all you know, I'm not a great speller. So here's Roots Chiropractic Live webinar.

So you can see that right now during during the crisis where they can't help, where car cannot, so they see their patients. These guys right here are running a live webinar on. I'm assuming some kind of offer that they're doing as a chiropractor to patients. Right. So there eyes Karamargin are running a webinar targeted towards patients and people that need help.

So they found a way to make money right now during the crisis. This is a million dollar idea that I literally just stumbled across while I'm on here because they have found a way to make money while other chiropractors aren't making money. So this chiropractor is I'm going to do this for himself. And then if he's very smart and this works out really well, which I can see that he's been running this.

For only about 10 days now, so I would probably check on this in about 10, 30 days.

But if he's running us really well and he's smart, he'll probably show readiness for other chiropractor so they know how to make money. Also, I think this little button right here, I can see what his funnel kind of looks like. So this one's an Eventbrite, so he didn't even create a funnel on the back in his little just Eventbrite. And I don't know if you can see a number of attendees on this.

I don't think that you can.

But but you're gonna get the idea here, guys, some very, very easy for you to type in anything that you want to type in, whether it's an industry, whether it's a specific influencer name, whether it's your main competitor, see what kind of ads are running. You can opt into their funnel and see what their emails look like. Opt in their email list. There's no reason why you should be starting at scratch. There's zero reason why you can start to scratch when you could do something as simple as this and you can really just jump ahead and start working and and have everything be very, very similar to what your competitors are doing x over the end when they get out on a call with their competitor.

Now they're going to get in on a call with you. OK. So that's where it is. It's called Facebook Ads Library. This is the ethical way to steal your competitors research.

If you guys got a lot of value out of their studio, quick favor, please click the like button, click subscribe down below. Make sure you share it with one of your friends. And also comment down below. There's any other tools or any other questions you guys have about Facebook advertising or legionaries. You click funnels and I'll be sure to answer it as well.

And then if you guys want to get a little more personal with me, you want to go a little bit further with me and see, you know, ask me a little more questions. Toppings on Tuesdays. Maybe some calls that I host live inside of my free Facebook group, Scaling with systems. I'm going to drop the link for below. I please, please, I ask you guys to join.

It's totally free. I engage in message every single person that's inside of there and a lot of the content pieces that I get for my YouTube channel. It comes from people that are asking questions that I grew up so linked to that's going to be below.

Make sure you like Common Scribe and I'll see you guys tonight..

What is an eBook compiler?

What is an eBook compiler?

You've written and revised your ebook, hired an artist who has produced outstanding graphics, and now you're ready to actually put together your ebook. What you need to make an ebook is software called an ebook Compiler.

There are many different compilers to chose from, but first, you need to know exactly what an ebook Compiler does. Here is the simple explanation:

An ebook compiler is a software program that converts either text pages or HTML text into a single executable file or an ebook.

If you or someone you hired has created a file with graphics in HTML, you will need an HTML ebook Compiler. This type of compiler requires a working knowledge of the HTML tag language. You can also use software to do this for you, such as Microsoft FrontPage or Macromedia Dreamweaver.

How do you choose an eBook Compiler?

There are a large number of ebook Compilers available on the market, all with glowing sales copy and tekkie language. It can get very confusing and overwhelming very fast without some simple guidelines to help you figure out which compiler is right for you.

Choosing an ebook Compiler depends on a number of factors:

1. How did you create your pages? Did you use HTML or PDF format? There are many more compilers available for HTML, but you can find some very good compilers that will covert your PDF files into an ebook.

2. Consider how easy the program is to use and the thoroughness of the software's instruction manual. It is absolutely necessary that the compiler you buy have an instructional manual, documentation, or online"wizards." If it doesn't, your chances of figuring out how to correctly use the program are compromised, and the time required doing so is going to be significant. Many manufacturers of compilers offer a free trial version so you can play around with it and see if it suits your needs. Download the trial version and ascertain that it actually does what it claims to do.

3. Security features. If you plan to sell your ebook, check out the security features of the compiler software carefully. Security features should include: prevention of the reader from modifying text, access only to the pages you assign or by entering a password, different ways of generating passwords such as secure passwords, user-friendly, and open passwords.

4. Supported scripting. Find out what scripts the software supports. Scripting allows you to create special effects, customize menus, and create and modify other user interactivity. Choose a compiler that permits you to include graphics, search windows, hyperlinks, forms, surveys, etc.

5. Pricing. This is a factor that is not always easy to gauge. The highest priced compilers are not automatically your best choice. Choose your compiler based on the necessary requirements for your Ebook. That means you need to know exactly how you plan to use your Ebook and what functions you require.

Let's look at some of these factors in more detail.First of all, make sure you have the correct browser to run the compiler. The majority of HTML compilers use Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape. Check out the version that the compiler supports. Compilers that require a browser will not run on a computer that does not have the required browser installed. However, there are ebook HTML compilers that don't require you to have any browser installed on your computer. These compilers run on any Windows system.

If you choose a compiler that requires a browser, check to ascertain that the browser is installed correctly and that it is properly configured to the specifications of the compiler. Check to see if certain functions are turned off or on, and make any adjustments according to the compiler instructions.

Security is an essential element of any compiler, regardless of whether you plan to sell or give away your ebook. One of the main reasons for using a compiler is to prevent the reader from modifying the contents. A secure compiler allows access only to the pages you want the user to access unless they enter a correct password.

To find out how secure an ebook HTML compiler is, open an ebook on it. While it is open, check the temporary directory of your computer. This can usually be accessed by typing in C:Windowstemp. If you see a bunch of files when your ebook is open or running, it means that your computer is decompressing the secure data from your ebook before showing the ebook to the viewer. This method is not secure! It means that anyone with the knowledge of how to access these temporary files can steal the secure data and then they can fiddle with your ebook to their evil heart's desire. Remember, one of the main purposes of buying and using an HTML compiler is to protect your property.

Next, let's discuss passwords. When trying to choose an ebook Compiler, check out the type of passwords that the compiler supports. Almost all compilers offer some kind of password protection that insures that the user can only access the contents they have purchased from you. However, the best compilers offer varied ways to generate different types of passwords. Choose a compiler that gives you the options of secure, user-friendly, and open password generation.

Another important factor when it comes to passwords is how the compiler generates them. A compiler that has internal password protection generation built into the software is more secure than compilers that link to live Internet password control systems.

Find out if the compiler generates passwords online. If it has this option, it allows you to choose any payment processing system you want or to do the payment processing yourself.

Next, look into the size of ebook the compiler supports. The best compilers can create ebooks up to 2 GB in size without decompressing the HTML pages or images to your hard disk. Usually, ebooks that are 2 GB in size can easily support 6 GB of compressed data. The catch here is that only text files will generally be compressible.

You do not want a compiler that decompresses this amount of data when the user attempts to open your ebook. This would mean that anyone who purchases your ebook will have to wait for all the data to decompress before they can access your ebook right after downloading it. So look for compilers that only decompress temporarily files that are NOT HTML to the local hardisk. Non-HTML files include Flash, Word, and Acrobat files. This type of compiler is more secure and certainly faster.

Make sure the compiler you choose is compatible with your system software. Check out what version of Windows it requires, and make sure you have that version before buying your compiler.

Support issues are extremely important. Choose a compiler that includes an installation program. This program allows your user to choose a number of different places on their computer to install the ebook, to place a shortcut on their desktop, and to add the ebook, if they choose, to the Start Programs menu.

You also want excellent and accessible vendor support. Make sure you can access quick technical support! At three o'clock in the morning, this factor will be VERY important. Also, check to see the terms of free technical support offered. Unlimited technical support is obviously the best option.

Check to see if the company that puts out the compiler software offers a service level agreement. This agreement is to assure you of their quality response to your questions or problems.

A good thing to consider is how long the compiler has been on the market. Usually, the version number will give you an idea. The longer the program is on the market, the higher the version number, the more bugs have been worked out.

When choosing an ebook compiler, do not be swayed by incredible promises and dazzling sales copy. Do your homework first, and then consider all the above issues and factors before choosing an ebook compiler.
