Extended RV Trips: Your Overnight Accommodation Options

Are you in the process of planning an extended RV trip? If you are, is this your first time looking to do so? If it is, you may have a number of questions. One question commonly asked by first time RV travelers is that of where to stay. When planning an extended RV trip, you may take comfort in knowing that you have a number of different overnight accommodation options.

One of the most common places for RV travelers to stay overnight is that of an RV park. RV parks are similar to standard campgrounds; however, they are designed with motor homes in mind. One of the biggest differences between traditional campgrounds and RV parks is the number of camping spaces available, as well as the size of those spaces, which is often much larger.

Should you decide to stay overnight at an RV park, you may want to plan doing so in advance. This is particularly important in late spring, summer, and early fall. These times are known as being popular RV travel dates. Although RV parks are increasing in popularity, many still quickly fill up with reservations. To help ensure that you have a place to stay each night of your trip, reservations are advised.

As previously stated, traditional campgrounds, also commonly referred to as public campgrounds, are similar to RV parks. For that reason, you will want to give them a close look. Many public campgrounds accommodate to RV owners. When doing so, they have larger spaces set aside that are able to fit most standard motor homes.

As with staying at an RV park, it is important to plan ahead, when looking to stay at a public campground. This is particularly important, as many public campgrounds are limited on the number of motor home accommodations they have. To help ensure that you have a spot you will want to make reservations, even if they are not technically required.

Another option that you have, when looking to stay in your RV overnight, is by speaking to those that you know. Is the purpose of your RV trip to visit long distance friends and relatives? If it is, ask if you can park your RV and stay on their property. Many will not have a problem allowing you to do so if they have a large yard or driveway. Although you may not want to ask, you should take money into consideration. You may be able to save yourself a considerable amount of money, especially on extend trips, when staying somewhere for free.

As previously stated, RV parks and public campgrounds with motor home accommodations are popular ways for RV owners and renters to spend their nights on extended trips. The best way to go about researching all of your options is by using the internet. A standard internet search, with your intended destination is advised. For example, if you will be traveling to Idaho, search with a phrase, such as “Boise Idaho RV parks,” or “Boise Idaho RV campgrounds.”

If you do choose to stay at a public campground with RV accommodations or an RV park, don't pick the first one that you come cross. This is a great way to make sure that you find the overnight accommodation that is best for you and your needs. Many areas have multiple RV parks and campgrounds to choose from. If you start your planning early enough, you should be able to thoroughly examine the cost of each of your options, as well as park or campground features, like swimming pools, hiking trails, and so forth.

Make Money Writing Articles: Your Options Reviewed

Do you enjoy writing? If so, did you know that you can make money writing articles? You can. As for how you can do so, please continue reading on.

One of the easiest ways to make money writing articles is to write for someone else.

This individual or company is referred to as a client. As for how you can find these clients, you can turn to freelance job boards or online bidding websites. These two websites can be found with a standard internet search. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) companies also hire freelance web content writers and many list their job openings in an employment section on their website.

When writing articles for a client that you acquire online, there are a number of different articles that you may end up writing. The topic or niche will depend your client's wants and needs. A wide range of topics are written on a daily basis, including parenting, computers, and pets.

The biggest advantage to writing for a client is that you are paid almost immediately. Most clients will pay their writers within 14 days, on average. If you are interested in writing for yourself, it can take you a few months or even a year before you start seeing profits. The good news is that you have a number of different money making opportunities.

As previously stated, you can write articles for a client that you acquire online. When doing so, you write what your client requests. On the other hand, you can write your own articles on topics that interest you or topics that are currently in demand. You can then sell these articles on your own website. By grouping your articles to create PLR article packages, you sell the articles at a cheap rate, but you can sell them more than once. You also have the option of selling just usage rights or giving away full rights, which is known as exclusive rights.

In keeping with selling your own articles, there are websites online that will assist you in doing so. These websites allow you to post and list your articles for sale on their own websites. This approach is nice, but you may be charged a fee or a set percentage of each sale. This percentage can be up to 20 percent or more!

A unique way to make money writing articles is to turn your articles into an eBook. You can either sell your eBook to readers or offer it for sale with exclusive rights, which essentially means that someone else will pay a large fee for your eBook and then resell it themselves. You can either sell your eBook on your own website or use an already established selling site. Once again, they do charge you a fee. With that said, remember that you don't have to pay for web hosting or do your own marketing, as this is already done for you. In this event, the fee charged may be well worth the costs.

The articles that you write, for yourself, can also be used for web content. Have you ever wondered how websites that don't sell products make money? They do so through advertisements and you can too. The only downside to this approach is that you must market your websites.

The good news is that articles can be used to help you do so. You can submit your articles to online article directories and attach a link to your website. While you will not make money directly through these articles, they can help to increase your website profits.

With that said, there are a select number of websites where you can make money from your articles and promote websites and blogs at the same time. These websites pay you to list your articles on their websites. You may be paid an upfront fee, a page view bonus, or a combination of them both. These are nice, as you can make money and you can often link back to your own website or blog.

Make Money with Storage Auctions: Reselling Options

Do you want a relatively easy way to make money? If so, you should consider attending and participating in mini storage auctions. These auctions occur when unit renters do not pay their bills. As for what you will find inside, it will vary, but there is always the potential to make money. As for how that money is made, reselling.

Since you profit from mini storage auctions by reselling the merchandise you bid on at an auction, it is important to know what your options are. As for what option is best for you, it will depend on the items you have available for sale and your own personal preferences. To help you decide, please continue reading on, as a few of your storage unit auction reselling options are discussed below.

Yard Sales

Yard sales are an easy way to resell merchandise you purchased at a self-storage auction. This is mostly due in part to convenience, as you are able to lay all of your items out for display at once. Although you can profit from hosting a yard sale, know that many shoppers expect to find low prices. It isn't recommended that you sell valuable jewelry or antiques at a yard sale, but they are a great way to resell furniture, books, movies, clothes, home d?cor, and toys.

If you do decide to host a yard sale, be sure to advertise. Place signs around your neighborhood. List your yard sale online and take out a newspaper classified ad. Be sure to include the date, time and location of your sale. Also, post a small summary of what you are selling to generate interest.

Yard sales are a great way to profit from the reselling of mini storage auction contents, but they aren't right for everyone. Do you live in a high trafficked area? Do your local laws prevent you from hanging yard sale signs? Do you not have enough space for a yard sale?

Flea Markets

Flea markets are a nice alterative to yard sales. If you don't have the space to host your own sale, rent a table at the flea market. Although the dealer fees may be a turn off, you are automatically paired with shoppers without having to pay for advertising.

To find the best luck with flea markets, choose those that receive the most shoppers. Visit flea markets in your area to gauge the traffic coming in and out. Flea markets where shoppers must pay a fee to enter are nice, as many do not want to leave without buying anything.

Although flea markets are a good way to resell items you bought at a mini storage auction, some do have rules and restrictions on what can be sold.

eBay

eBay is another reselling option that you have. What is nice about eBay is that it is a popular online marketplace; shoppers flock to the website on a daily basis. This means that thousands of shoppers can see your auctions.

Since eBay is an online marketplace, it allows shoppers from across the country to view and buy your merchandise. On that same note, these items must be shipped. Unless you take a gamble and make certain items available for pickup only, not everything from a mini storage auction can be resold on eBay. Large household appliances and furniture may be too difficult or costly to ship.

It is also important to note the fees eBay charges. They can cut into your profits. If you do decide to sell on eBay, track your sales and subtract your fees. Make sure you are making money before you continue to use eBay.

Craigslist.org

Craigslist, in addition to flea markets, is another great alternative to hosting a yard sale. What you do is create free classified ads outlining the items that you have for sale. When you place those listings under the heading for your closest city, local buyers will contact you when interested. It is best if you create individual listings for your large items and always include pictures.
